The Dreamcast is very special to many gamers. Even seeing the commercials still gives me chills, the way they put them together was just epic especially that 'its thinking' at the end made you feel as if the system had a personality and not just another console. Sega were just ahead of their time and that's what worked against them in the end because all the inspirational stuff they came out with was just modified by their competitors and made better.
& seeing a Playstation, Xbox and the WORST of all Nintendo logo (BECAUSE Sega & Nintendo where rivals all threw out the 90's) on a Sonic game...it was just awkward to even look if you grew up on Sega consoles like me...i know other Sega fanboys felt the same way.

The Platinum Games deal is cranking out solid games for Sega and things are just looking up for them. If they do make a Dreamcast 2, they need to have some sort of Virtual Console service like the Wii. They could re-release games from all Sega systems. They could have both. Whatever works for the consumer, I say. I'd actually like playing Saturn games on a new system. My Sega Saturn broke within two weeks after recieving it on christmas day, so I'm pretty skeptical about buying a replacement. Plus, I don't really know if my copy of Sonic Jam works anymore. There aren't any serious scratches, and I recently tested it on my sister's laptop, just to see if the files would pop up, and they did, so... yeah.

You know what really ticks me off? It seems like the only reason game reviewers are saying that the original Sonic Adventure games sucked is because they were tricked by Sega into thinking that the XBLA and PSN versions were the original SA 1 when in reality they're just direct ports of the crappy Gamecube version.
@CheeseYoshi The gamecube version of SA2 was pretty much exactly the same as the DC version besides the added content. I don't know about SA1 but it was probably the same deal. You're most likely complaining about nothing.
@CheeseYoshi But that doesn't make any sense. That gamecube version is far supirior to the original. I've played both. The only thing about the gamecube version is the cutscenes can be a little desynced at times. Besides, people have hated those games YEARS before they were released on XBLA or PSN.

Saturn was a bad console.
