Honestly i hate when people say this is a bad tactic but seriously just because it works for wings doesnt mean it will work for you i like this tactic and use it when i team up with friends quite effectively but all im tryna say is do whatever works best for you and dont try and force something you dont feel comfortable doing like sitting back with a assault or rushing a medic which i do not suggest.

A good Recon or Medic is actually a whole lot better spawn-point. Medics for the suppressive fire and the [GOOD] Recon to provide motion sensors and spotting targets. Screw the wookies sitting 200000000000 yards away. Assault are way more important moving forward, than to sit back like this...

the assault class also has the 40mm grenade launcher, a 40mm shotgun or 40mm smoke grenade launcher :)

I used the smoke technique since February, basically when it first came out. I use it when snipers are a hassle. I will launch it to provide concealment when disarming the MCOM and if the enemy has more snipers than any other kit characters. It is under used though.

I find that the smoke screen for some reason leads the enemies to run through it just to see what's on the other side. However it is great for those irritating snipers

Mobile Spawn Point? what a sad excuse, go back to mw2 if you're going to camp like that. sure, teammates spawning on you is helpful, but you're a lousy teammate letting them go one by one dying alone while you hide behind a rock, pick of one guy and run away. if you want to be useful, help your teammates a little more than shooting smoke grenades and stealing kills. it looks like you're more concerned with your k/d than defending/attacking
