I didn't think T3 was that bad. It was very strong story wise.

I really didn't like T4 that much. To me, it was just a random war movie and besides the movie didn't even focus on John Connor. It was a sequel mostly about Marcus and his identity as half human and half robot. At least T1,T2,T3 were all real terminator movies that had TX, T-800, endless chasing scenes. I just didn't get that taste and feeling in T4 that i expected from previous movies.

@Maisman91, its all in how you look at the serie. if you consider 3 to be a continuation of the serie, its going to disappoint you. if not, its a decent scifi-ish flick in the same world as the previous two.

@Maisman91, disclaimer: i guess this is just me: also, Stahl just isnt good enough for this kind of stuff. his style is more suited for the romantic / comedic and drama franchises - there he'd be perfect. on this? he seems like a character they shoehorned into the movie. theres seems to be no "mental relation" to furlong's connor and thats .. bad. for example bale from 4 honored original connor a bit more than stahl ever could.

i think T3 was decent.

I did like certain aspects of T4, but thought some parts of it were 'forced', or unnecessary etc. Its still an ok film, but out of the 4 I rate it in last.

I grew up watching Terminator movies. T3 was terrible and so was Salvation. They should have stopped after T2. James Cameron is the only director that can make a TRUE Terminator movie.

The problem was lack of story. It had good ideas but they treated it like another "here we go again" film.

Salvation is a much more worthy sequel to the series.
