Four hours is a bit extreme, but just a joke or two I see no problem, I mean you get that in the real world anyway. discussion of spousal abuse and I fully took it as women in general, married or not. Regardless, maybe because we were in the infantry and women were not really with us if at all, maybe that could be a reason. Maybe the other MOSs that had women were a different matter... but even when we were with women, it was not like we did anything with them against their will. I would assume us being in the infantry we would be more forceful, but I have no idea. As far as the virgin or hazing goes...

Speaking from experience of both being a male and an exinfantry soldier, I have never met any one from my platoon, that I "know of" who would treat women they way these have been treated. Do not get me wrong, yes guys will go to the club to pick up women with the main objective of getting laid and then brag about it. But as far as raping goes, unless you count both people being under the influence of alcohol, it did not happen, not that I know of anyway. It was like once a month we had a full...

I am a woman veteran and I'm appalled at how men are allowed to get away with this. I don't remember this happening when I was in the Army in the 60's. Oh, there was plenty of consentual sex happening but I never heard anything about rape. Maybe there was but we didn't hear about it. All the men I knew understood what "no" meant and honored your wishes. I wonder how much of this is a sign of the time we are living in now. I don't know the answer but something needs to be done NOW.
