@kikster93 the fuses was burned every month and tubes burning etc , now i have another bassman 59 and sims pretty nice.. i also have a twin reverb and i love these two amps one more fore cleans and the bassman more for blues rock etc ,
fender really fucked up with these vintage reissues, they all sound so thin and dry i mean dont get me wrong these over solid states and cheap tube amps but if your going to spend the 1000-1700 on a vintage reissue series just look for an old one, they arent that much more expensive and the tone out of those can own a two rock
This amp can be frustrating at first. The speakers seem to take a while to break in (at loud volume). I like the sound better with 5881 tubes in place of 6L6s. This change requires rebiasing. EL84s with THD Yellow Jacket adapters also work well.
I think it's cool that there are lots of differnet guitars and players on these amp videos. In a few seconds, you know whether you like the guitar, the amp, and the music, or not.
i was owner of a bassman and it was the most problematic amp i had..
but the sound its really good

Maybe it's just some bad audio compression artifact, but in all these clips it sounds like he's using a cheap, backwards, room setting reverb.

@ChillBroify this clip sounds pretty crappy for sure but the actual amps sound great live. used one the other night when my bandmaster blew up...

@killlalaland You used your Bassman when your Bandmaster blew up. I wonder what people who don't play guitar think when they hear stuff like that?

only after 7 volume BUt if you get a pedal it will be more than enough.. the brakin starts from the 5 but it is not enough ..
Seawalker23 2 years ago
i forgot to mention that 7 volume is realy and painfully loud if you are to play on a big living room.. So to d othe work you need the pedal

Because Bassman 59 Reissue have adjustable bias control inside my question is: is it fully cranced or set more on middle ??
THANKS!

why splitting all the bassman videos to tiny short videos?
very annoying.
