Your story is very much like my own. I was 'casual' and played it for 5 yrs with days where i played all day. I also girl (also from norway) which i visited. we are still friends and still talk even after 4 years of knowing eachother.
MMO's are strange and most ppl don't understand why people get 'addicted'. People who have been trough someting like this really have a "life in game" we really have memories that will last forever. we really make friends. Even though it's not reality, it's real.
@omfgstupid To a degree it was quite tough, especially going through my emotions again, especially with the Norwegian Girl and also how I felt the game made me become, but it also allowed me to reflect on the good times I had with the game.
I didn't really feel compelled to start playing or get addicted into the game again, as I was only truly playing to that degree when I was leading a guild and running organised raids. Making the film felt more like a farewell to the game for me.

Ive seen people have over 150 since WRATH came out. that makes me wonder how they can spend so much time on this game.

While playing wow you dont have this illusion and this question 'What have I do next month?' bumping in your brains. You don't have to do anything, just log in in the evening and the game will show you the path. Just make a little effort, turn on game - and voila! you have THE GOAL. I think psychologists have learnt this motivation trick long time ago :)
Dont get me wrong, but several of us are lucky to get a real goal in life. Who wants to work one more day on job (even if its good)? Just to pay bills? Whats next? Okay, holidays are coming. And thats all? And what about next year, going to get a promotion or buy a new car? These goals are fake, they are not real. Time passing, life changing, somebody leaves, new people comes. All this is real life, but seems quite like illusion.

1 time when my old friend called me thata i was fat and ugly i did pushed him, he was on hospital for 1 month and i needed to pay the built for he´s broken nose-.- and now i have a gf and good friends soo i am happy and this was a rly good video.... i wich u good luck.

Great video. I don't believe in WoW addictions. If you play a game religiously like that, it's your own doing. It has nothing to do with the game. I have played ON and OFF since Burning Crusade, and my social life/romantic life didn't suffer because of it.

This is an amazing video. I've only been playing for two years and I balance out my life very well with WoW. I'm out every weekend, I work, have a great social life etc. But I guess it depends on the person though. But great video :D
