  • Good video but I think theres a lot of stuff here that we should just remove from our diet altogether, not try and substitute something else in for it. I.e sugar/artificial sweeteners, chocolate bars/crisps/pepperami (so highly processed) and soda whether its diet or not.

  • Hey Mark I'm starting your MANS diet tomorrow. You have great info man and I'm really diggin your website so keep up the good work!

  • Whats up! Possibly you have taken into account DietOramy diet system (find it on google)? I have learned of some incredible facts relating to this and my granny reduced plenty of unwanted fat with it.

  • @LorenceMccoy

Its about 7wks now & I still do

what it has asked me to.It talks

    about my nutritional program

    based on my bodys somatotype

in order to know what to eat and

    achieve muscular physique.

Anyway, you got the name of the

    site mispelled. It should be:

    MusclesMaximizer.info

  • damn...i'm learning about low carbs..and a hot guy w/a hot accent does the video...win.

  • you can have big nuts. lol i can tell u were thinking the same thing im thinking rite now lol

  • Damn I expected him to sound like Hulk Hogan.

  • @shredhappy101 why?

  • carbs are the shit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Hi hi! Have you ever tried cleverous 402 diet (do a search on google)? Ive heard some awesome things about it and my work buddy lost lots of weight with it.

  • eat a little bit of both, but not too much, work out, enjoy your food and live long :)

  • I wouldn't do fake sugar, it's really bad for you, but If you really need sugar, but you don't want to do real sugar, use stevia! Stevia isnt sugar or fake sugar, it's all natural! It comes from a leaf and is zero calorie! And fat, from foods, IS good for you. Butter, bacon, full fat yogurt is good for you! :)

  • @ThatPerfectionizt Not all fats are good for you.. Not all butter is good for you.. There are good fats and bad fats.

  • I found that pork rinds are a great substitute for potato chips. Shirataki noodles are great because they absorb the flavor of the sauce (just clean them very well first) and they are high fiber/low carb noodle replacement (they now have angel hair. fettuccine, macaroni, and rice styles too). For something sweet I make low carb homemade icecream with heavy cream, sweetener, and vanilla, or sugar free jello, etc

Low carb can be easy to handle if you know what to get.

  • ok i have a question im looking in to starting this diet low carb how much have you lost in lbs please btw love the accent

  • thanks for taking the time to share :-)

  • Do you really find that you can thrive without carbs? I really think carbs are the body's preferred energy source (fruit). Aren't they?

  • @hoppimike

You can survive but you will be weak. People tell me that low carb diets lead to massive muscle loss aswell if you do them for too long. When I first started Bodybuilding I went low carb, I built muscle got stronger and lost fat but when I got really lean I noticed I wasnt making any strength gains and was actually starting to get weaker so they're not good for weightlifters long term I'd say.

  • @KaeruthePaladin yeah. thing is, ages ago I too was carb-phobic. And then I realized... in our evolution, we would have eaten a LOT of fruit. As we evolved from monkeys. We would be eating tons of bananas and stuff, which is all CARBS.

There is a lot of debate whether it's healthier to burn fat or carbs for energy. I think it's carbs, but that's just my opinion :)

  • @hoppimike when u eat carbohdyradtes they trun into a bodys natural sugar which will then turn into fat

  • @hoppimike The body uses carbohydrates first before fat, and lastly uses protein. Thats why people who lose weight can still walk around because they still have muscle and obviously don't need protein. Fat people have unlimited energy really in terms of fat(watch the biggest loser) but fructose is not bad. The body doesnt turn anything into fat; the body turns fat to carbs for glycogen. The body runs on 2 things mostly; potassium and sodium. Sodium-veg and Glycogen-fruit; stay away from starch

  • Great Video. Such a big help. Now if i can only find celery root. lol Ps. The voice is a big turn on .

  • Too adorable. I didn't pay attention to a word, just the accent. Love it. :-)

  • This is really helpful information thanks, as I find it so hard to cut down on carbs.

Did you know that Scientists have now isolated a compound in seaweed that can block 82% of the carbs we consume (yes you heard it right!!!), so hopefully it is going to be even easier to cut right back on carbs in the future, from using the helpful tips on this post to taking this incredible seaweed.

  • I practice low carbs....I keep my bread on the bottom shelf.

  • Good day, Check out intellectus 424 diet (Google it). I have lost a ton of unwanted weight best result ever.

  • i want to lose at least a stone and i want to try this diet. as a nurse i have busy shifts from waking up at 5-30 am and getting home at 9ish at night 12hour shifts 3-4 times a week and night shifts, so im worried i will struggle and give in to carb craving, what would you suggest?

    love ure video x

  • Thrilled to find someone in the UK as most forums and groups are American and the foods they eat aren't on sale here.

  • Great video, but did you know that Tesco do cans of fiery diet ginger beer, in packs of six that are sweetned with sucralose? They are fab, and have been a huge crutch for me as I lose weight doing low carb. They also do cloudy lemonade diet of course, which are sweetened the same, quite nice really.

  • Great video, thanks so much for all the wonderful tips! I've lost 85 lbs in the past doing the atkins or low carb diet. Sadly i lost my nephew and have been in severe grief for the last 17 months, dealing with own my health problems too from my crohns disease and had to get lung surgery also from a collapsed lung, but did manage to quit smoking after 22 yrs :) Now just gotta get this weight back off.. thanks again for all the great info !!!!

  • Your voice is soo sexy.....I think my ears just had an orgasm.. Is that possible ?

  • Awe i love your face! your accent i love love love it!

  • I AM IN LOVE!!!!!!

For chips pork rinds have 0 carbs and you can use them mushed up in many recipes..they also come in different flavors

  • another good sweetner is stevia!

  • Thanks somuch dude GRATE info

  • aaaawwwwwwwwwwi tjhinkkk immm in looove

  • is that a midget door ?

  • Thanks for the video - I didnt understand a word you said cause I was sooo busy looking at ur fine self! I wish you were after me lucky charms!!

  • To be sure, tee ta ta, ta tooo

  • I'm gonna try that Califlower!

  • my gf eats big nuts all the time! jkjk, great vid, thanks for the great ideas

  • Losing weight is quite a journey, I watch video about it every week - it helps to keep me motivated, even if some of the advice is conflicting

  • cheers gud stuff i sorta eat stuff like that but wat sorta daily food plan wud u give i do low carbs 2 luse weight but i cn never get ripped and i train loads lol cn u help me out plz

  • Mama Lupe's Tortillas@1:25 where can i get them if i am here in my home african country >Problem is currently here in my country-the shops are closed, there are civil wars everywhere...and my internet will probably be down anytime,.thanks you in advance

  • REALLY dig the accent!!! Good substitution ideas! ;-)

  • you're suggesting processed foods many with high amounts of fat over healthy non processed foods .... bizarre

  • @geewhiz76 yes these suggesstions are quite bizarre, none of the above are natural growing foods

  • @jagonetwot this diet is about looking good on the outside (for now) and not looking good on the inside.

  • @geewhiz76 i dont think this diet is going to make you feel good internally or externally!!

so i very much doubt its too look good on the outside mate, u must be crazy to think otherwise

  • @jagonetwot agreed, but what i mean is - it will make you skinnier and give definition BUT it's not worth it! AND it can be achieved by eating good foods.

  • @geewhiz76 fair enough, stay away from these foods if u want to get ripped.

  • @geewhiz76 It is worth it! The body was designed to operate on high protein and no refined foods.

  • @jagonetwot The first half week is horrible, it is sugar withdrawal... but it is SOOOO worth it! Seriously. I never feel better than I do when in ketosis. And NO, ketosis is not bad for you. Ketoacidosis is dangerous, but that only happens to diabetics, and if they are eating sugar. Ketosis happens to every healthy person at night.

  • @daffodyllady yes i totally agree with u about ketosis, im generally a fit and healthy person, it always comes down to mental strength with me how strong cycological a individual can be to resist.

  • @geewhiz76 Fat does NOT make you fat. Read Gary Taubes' book "Why We Get Fat, And What to do About It." Fat opens the pathway to RELEASE fat out of storage. Carbs lock that door shut.

  • @daffodyllady you are talking about the non saturated fats right?

  • Mark you rock! Please make some more Videos.

    best wishes from Germany

  • Celery root fries? Never heard of that. another good chocolate bar replacement are the lindt 85-90% cocoa bars, hardly any sugar, full of fat, decadent.

  • My happiness Asian Beauties **lushfmlk.info**

  • Online Asian wives **lushfmlk.info**

  • Thank you so much for this info. I have started the Atkins diet and so far have lost 14 lbs with 20 to go. I really appreicite the time you took to put this on. It will help a lot.

  • is this video a joke? your basically telling ppl to eat shit processed junk food because its low in carb's fucking lol great advice moron also sucralose and aspartamem are more or less the same thing, your like "stay clear of aspartamem" like you know what your talking about, sucralose was found accidentally while making insecticide that's the only difference. this is what happens when you post and not know what your talking about, stop posting.

  • Low carb diet is not easy! I should know, I tried hard to lose that weight!! But you know I stumble upon the site 101lowcarbmeals and it taught me great tasting low carb recipes!

  • How to make you low carb diet easy? EAT MORE FAT YOU STUPID AMERICANS!!

  • @HogbergPhotography Let them eat their fat!!! clogged arteries will make them all just go away!

    damn that was harsh. 8^)

  • So glad you said don't mess with Aspartame. I was checking out the South Beach diet recipes and they push that crap plus they tell you to stay away from all meat that has fat in it. Calories from fat don't necessarily store as fat! I have noticed a huge improvement by just cutting out all white flour and white sugar out of my diet. Still eating complex carbs and beans like lentils. Good idea about the califlower!

  • are u scot or something?

  • @fenotipobombay pretty sure thats irish mate :)

  • why r u eating low carb all the time

    did u have a weight problem ?

  • Thank you for some really great ideas for low carbing! I have been doing it religiously since July 5th, and so I have grown a bit tired of some of the things I've been eating for the past 3 months. You have me some great ideas to add some new treats and snacks that I never thought of! Thank you so much!

  • are you irish from new england?

  • Oh my gosh - you are so cute and I LOVE you accent! You are hot!!

  • im new to this low carb diet but does that mean you can drink as much diet cola as you like?

  • Comment removed

  • dude thank you soooo much!!!! yeah that aspartame is some nasty cancer causing shit brah...

  • Thanks, that helped me understand low carb a little more. Helps that you have a nice accent. :)

  • Ah, Sainsbury's; I went there with my friends when I visited the UK (I'm a New Yorker). Great store!!

Another idea for low carb snacking: Take a stick of string cheese, tear it in half the long way, and around each half, wrap a thin slice of ham (the kind that's pre-sliced, in the cold cuts section of the store). Those ham-and-cheese rolls with a can of diet soda or seltzer water make a very satisfying mid-afternoon snack. You won't be hungry until dinnertime.

  • shawndx.. it is an individual thing.. When you are on lowcarb most people have a diminished appetite.. Eat when you are hungry for the most part but try to eat at least 3 meals a day. Some eat several smaller meals during the day.. Just make sure you are eating and drinking your water. Join a support website.. it will help you a ton.. I have lost a lot of weight with the help of a site I help run.. Take care!! cheri

  • how many times a day do you eat when you are on low carb diest???? plz reply anyone knows???

  • You sound like Colin Farrell. I am American so it sounds sexy to me.

  • Good ideas, thanks for the information. I listened more than once, once to get the information, the second time to just listen to you speak!

  • About the drinks not sweetened with aspartame! If you go to ASDA they sell bottle of concentrated squash (their own brand) in all kinds of whacky flavours like Strawberry, peach and apple. No aspartame!

  • how can an irishman survive without potatoes?

  • I agree with mylove1!!!!!

  • so you like big nuts eh? haha

  • I would listen to that again, just to hear your sexy accent lol ;) i'm on low carb too...don't forget you can use soy flour to thicken sauces, use as breading and flaxseed meal for muffins etc :) happy low carbing

  • @sugar33spice Thanks :)

  • @MuscleHack :-)

  • So I can have cream but not milk ? I don't get it !

  • if u hav fats and not carbs isnt tht bad for ur body rather thn energy for ur body u actually get fats

  • beautiful eyes..beautiful accent! ; )

  • @caliminxx Thanks :)

  • such a good talk on low carb ...such a darlin :)

    thanks again :))

  • @wishi2929 So many nice comments. Thanks :)

  • how about yogurt

  • yo thanks for the tips

  • What was the 2nd thing you said you could use califlower for?

  • @Psylliumhead I think he said rice, there are several examples on youtube on how to make rice from cauliflower

  • Everyone I have EVER known who have done these low carb / stuff your face with dead animal diets look like hell! Yes you can lose weight but these diets are for people who want a diet where they don't have to think or use common sense. Processed meat and similar foods are not going to make you healthy. Go back to nature, exercise, and for the love of God use your brains! Water, raw fruits, veggies, and exercise---don't limit yourself on any of these.

  • whats wrong with aspartame?

  • I agree with JogBird!

  • Like the cauliflour idea, will try it and Hazel Nut replacement for peanut butter

  • Aww this is great! not many videos for us uk folk on low carb, I will defo check out the sauces and the hazelnut spread - where did you get the hazel spread, sainsbury's? thanks for the vid!

  • Wow, since when did carbohydrates get unhealthy? eat more vegetables and fruit and avoid saturated fats, that's a good start :)

  • Useful thoughts - particularly the cauliflower ideas.

I am having tremendous success with a low-carb lifestyle. It works, and has relieved a great deal of frustration from my efforts to get back n shape following several years of 'letting things go'. ;-)

I read Gary Taubes' book and then researched everything from Atkins Diet to scientific documents on insulin. I am convinced, and seeing physical proof of the validity of this 'carbs make you fat' thinking.

Thanks for the video. Best wishes.

  • I hate cutting carbs. But it always works. good to know about alterntives and tricks to make this dieting choice easier on you.

  • this taste likes shit!! and im still fat and it aint preeety!

  • Great vid mate

  • Ooh, love the sound of the cauli-mash, that sounds good. I'm also going to try the low carb cheese cracker and ice-cream recipes too. Thanks Mark!

  • Some good tips, but splenda is almost as bad as aspartame. It is a toxin. Dr. Mercola has a wonderful lecture on artificial sweeteners and their dangers.

    yeshuawaterdotcom

  • you are cuuuuute!!!!

  • sexy man!!!

  • Thanks for covering this topic! Straight to the point no dilly dallying. 5 *

  • Did you say that?

  • Thanks Mark for the great info. I lost 52 pounds in less than 9 months on a low carb plan. I am 11 pounds from my goal weight. I tried making chips with celery root, wow, was that good; going to make some for breakfast. Thanks again.

  • i did the carb diet and lost almost 70 lbs I only ate bacon salads water and ecercised everyday wherter it being running up and down the stairs when it was too cold or I couldn't make it to the gym.

If' you want too lose weight this is the diet for you.

  • That is awesome, how long did it take you to lose the 72lbs, and what did you lose the first month? Keep up the good work:)

  • I like big nuts!

  • im semi-vegetarian for the last 4 days,

yet i felt like my body is fiending 4 addictions & mainly garbage

    like dat

  • hey mate thanks for the info...

But what did you do at the end there, with your hand 5:32 ....

Isn't that considered offensive in UK ?

  • True! Means both though, this time it wasn't the offensive version ;)

  • @sigrino Winston Churchills V for Victory. made famous in WW2

  • An Irishman who doesn't eat potatoes! Blasphemy! ;)

  • thank you for posting this video. I actually tried the cauliflower "rice"...oh my goodness with butter. Great. Now I'm trying soy noodles I got from the Asian market. I made a New Orlean's shrimp sauce with the noodles...it was fabulous. Not a fan of ther celery root. thanks again for posting.

  • How about Stevia as a sweetener any good?

  • With you on everything but giving up chocolate ;-)

  • You can use extra virgin coconut oil & unsweetened cocoa + sugar substitute, very low carb (excellent with unsweetened coconut flakes added)

  • had to start eating soda bread. potein diet has no fiber and i bet you know how bad that is - any suggestions... your not in ireland are you?

  • Good informative vid matey, just one thing to add, another snack to replace crisps, pork scratchins, mr porky ones had no carbs in em. I weight 28st and i`m starting a low carb diet and exercise program tomorrow, hopefully i`ll be losing about 9 - 10 Lbs a week.

  • Great vid.

    Very helpful. Thanxs.

  • most products you show are processed.. substituing processed crap for more processed crap; also, they are not staple food substitutes... but junk food or condiments.

  • spot on!

  • Are you sure?

    Cauliflower?

    Celery root?

    Eggs?

    Nuts?

    Nut Butters?

    Mayonnaise?

    Stevia?

    ...All 'processed crap?'

  • Most products you show on your video are not available in Spain, but you gave me plenty ideas that I can follow. Thank you so much for your information. Greetings

  • Great suggestions. You gave me a lot to think about and some choices I can now incorporate into my everyday diet! Excellent video!

  • thnx soo much sweety.

  • thanks for showing what to eat,but arent we looking for sugar content as well?

  • I practice low carbs.....I keep my bread and potatoes on the bottom shelf. LOL

  • what bad effect if i have high carbs during bodytbuilding?? Thanks.

  • Good ideas but don't advise high salt pepperoni and stevia is a low harm sweetener (I think so anyway)

  • cheers. helped alot.

  • really helpful... thanks alot
