@mozartfx1 First off unless you were listening to college rock, rap, hardcore and punk or early alternative progenitors, the 80's sucked.
Second Zakk Wild was not part of "hair metal." He played for Ozzy. Twisted Sister, Ratt, Bon Jovi...that's hair metal.
