Darren, your case mode doesn't meet the requirements laid out in the challenge because you have to either hook up an external monitor or connect with another system (not to mention, the whole point was to make a portable GAMING system, not a hacker system that will get you a little too much attention from the wrong folks)

@wolftech65301 Actually it does meet the requirements, which were: Full ATX, Under $200. Check and check. Last I heard a monitor wasn't part of a computer case. As far as gaming is concerned, ours plays all the good games ;)

ewww, if 9dbi omni is accpetable why just etch a set out of flexi-pcb? Wile the stuffs not great for making high gain antenna's, it could easily achieve 9dBi omni. It could also be sewn into the backpacks liner consealing them from view without impeeding the signal. As for the battery, why not just string some Lipo or li-ion cells togather? For the same volume and weight you could get triple the mAh without the voltage drop issues.
