@akirasophine I think @Pullarr is right. The context of the story is the Endless Winter. "Angels are lost in the sooted fog of a million falling dots on a disk of mud". The "angels" are lost in the snow -- in a "fog" of snow in the air, falling to the earth, which is the "disk of mud".
@sleppnynorskenfri Absolutely. Haven't read it, but there are lots of references I think. The title, the bit about forgotten closets, and snow/frozen/eternal winter, and people turned into stone, Maugrim, and the Lady shadowing the sun...
@pornofashion one question, is that her debut-album? i am from germany and here they said this would be her debut-album, but some songs i found on youtube that are not in this album. and this such a great live-performance! many artist cannot sing live, but she's awesome :D
@viperlikescat The first album was called "Susanne Sundfør", the second album "Take One" (which was a rerecording of the first album, in aucoustic version), and this is her third album "The Brothel".
breathtaking!

I love it when she sings the bit, 'turkish delight' - sounds as if she's taunting and coaxing a sweet child. lovely song.

Never thought of that before,
but it sounds very much like it could be true.

@sleppnynorskenfri
The last verse of the song:
Everybody’s hungry for more and more
Even though they know that Maugrim is
At the door
Everybody thought they could make it on
Their own
Bit I’ve seen them turn into stone
Maugrim is the wolf in Narnia, so then It's settled: This song is, at least partially, about Narnia.

"Everybody’s hungry for more and more

Maugrim is one of the White Witch's servants in the books.
So then it's settled: This song is (at least partially) about Narnia.

Can anyone help me complete the lyrics?

upon the shroud that covers both the living and the dead
Oh they forgot the empire/ (?)
