Such a refreshing song! I believe this song is simply stating that he will continue to seek after the Lord, no matter what! Chasing doesn't necessarily mean that God is leaving but that He (God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit) is a gentlemen and will never overstep His boundaries. You (reader, myself) have to want what He has for you so therefore you have to seek (chase) Him in order to get whatever it is you need from the Lord. Bless the name of the Lord!

Such a refreshing song! I believe this song is simply stating that he will continue to seek after the Lord, no matter what! Chasing doesn't necessarily mean that God is leaving but that He (God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit) is a gentlemen and will never overstep His boundaries. You (reader, myself) have to want what He has for you so therefore you have to seek (chase) Him in order to get whatever it is you need from the Lord. Bless the name of the Lord!

Of course God is with use I dont think the song is not saying he is not. God wants use to seek his face Matthew 6;33, and love him and chase after him rather than worldly things, and have his spirit inside of our soul, mind personality in his truth and not relying on other people love or directions which doesnt last but his love which is enternal is forever. True he never leaves us we forget about him & return to our default mode of worldliness if we r not careful Remember 2Peter1 vs 5-8 its an upward call or we will slip back.
I love this song & play it most mornings it reminds me this whole life journey is about building a relationship with God

The bible is seriously messed up.
Turf out the Old Testament, with its baby smashing, women raping, slave beating, genocide, ripping babies from wombs, unicorns, dragons, contradictions & scientific embarrasments, get rid of 3 Gospels so there's no other gospels to contradict it, turf out all the verses that clearly say that Jesus will return in the lifetime of his disciples and you might have a book that is barely believable.
