  • You jogged some great memories with your views around the town. Thanks for posting the video. Is Oscar, the local shopkeeper still around ?

  • Hi Kev, I am male...not sure why you cannot access my Youtube. Thanks again and looking forward to settling in the area. Cheers Rob

  • @robbiepicon Maybe see you in Lluna Llunera sometime. You may be able to recognise me but I will not be able to recognise you as I still cannot open your channel

  • Yes I do thanks. I am moving to Alcalali in the new i think. Not sure where I will eventually settle. I am in Valle de Paraiso at moment. Sold my 2nd house in uk and I love it here. Cheers for email. Rob

  • @robbiepicon Excuse my ignorance on how to use Youtube (I am also nearly as bad with Facebook) but why when I click on your profile name does it it come up with 'Channel Not Available'? Your name suggests you could be male or female (not much choice really) but the tiny thumbnail looks like you could be female. Just asking.

We certainly live in a lovely area whether we be in Parcent, Alcalali or Jalón so I can understand you loving it here. I have met chris of Premier Villas a couple of times

  • I like most of the video after the intro. I live and work In Jalon. at premiervillasspain near Mas y Mas...pop in and say hello Rob

  • @robbiepicon Thanks for your message and comment. A pity your account on Youtube does not seem to be available any more. I do know where you work but do you also live in Jalón?

  • Thanks! I think we talk about the same bar.

In the '80 it was popular and among the few people that came to Jalon were also artists, music, painters came to visit the place.

They could come rather anonimous. Lots of BBQ's and flamencomusic we made there.

In those days next to the bar was also the

so called; Halleluja-shop. The man sold the famous mistrall wine and lots of pottery/artesane,

Thanks and I wish you good health

  • Hi friend,

in the 1985's I was in Jalon and frequented the famous bar Telerana. it was realy on the edge of the pueblo and the owner and his wife came from Canada.

    Does this place still exists?

thanks for the video, love it!

  • Bar Talarina ( I assume this is the bar you meant) is still there on the western edge of the village before you get to the road bridge over the river. It is still very popular with a young crowd hence I have only been once but I have no idea who owns it.
