  • Are u gay

  • u fuckin gay ass scared the fuck out of me.........

  • instead of sandpaper, can I use nail file or nail buffer?

  • @shirousako3450 Nail files and nail buffers have different grits and may even scratch the phone even more. Sandpaper is cheap anyways.

  • NERD!!

  • Do u know how to fix 4th generation iPod touch screens?

  • @hgfvbhfgirl ipods/iphones ae unfixable they are designed to break and scratch so you buy a new one and they earn more money

  • a have marks on the top off my phone

  • great video

  • lol sooo hard

  • How much sandpaper does this guy want????

  • your funny nice vid

  • What about Resistive screens?

  • OMG breathe! Hate when they edit out breathing like its something that doesn't belong.

  • 84 people don't like Panda Bears.

  • What if one were to skip all the different grades of sandpaper and used only the 1500 or 2000... Would it still have the same results???

  • @SHEIKHD7 No, by sanding with higher and higher grit your making the cloudiness of the previous sand paper less and less noticeable until the micro scratches are so small that the human eye can not notice.

  • @MacknDemon

Thanks for the information. However, I tried it the way "tamerabubakr" suggested and it worked perfectly...for me at least. My phone basically had hairline scratches so there wasn't really a need to go through each grade of sandpaper.

  • @SHEIKHD7 As long as you don't have super deep scratches you should be fine, just light scratches are easy to get out, you might even be able to just get the rubbing compound to get them out if they are light scratches.

  • @tamerabubakr

Thanks for this information. It worked perfectly!

  • My iPod has the same wallpaper as your desktop computer lol.

  • This video Is really good sadly I can't do it on my iPhone but it's that of a big scratch and they will probably sell sprays for your iPhone if it's scratched or I can just ask my dad who's an electrician yep ill just ask my dad see ya

  • Oh, hope this works for my favorite sunglasses! ps, you are so cute John!

  • Did nobody notice the screen protector not taken off?

  • Can i use it for my iPhone 4S

  • I can't use in my touchsreen phone? :(:( somebody try it in touchscreen phone?

  • @silverbizsu1 Yea my Iphone caught on fire when I did it

  • click "0" and keep clicking it, you will enjoy it ;) :p

  • i used this for my snowboard goggles (: thank you, it worked :D

  • did anyone notice that he spelled fiber wrong he spelled it fibre and idk if that is really how u spell it but it didn't look right.

  • @theawesomeness9911 its spelt both ways

  • @MrOluwag ok just making sure

  • @theawesomeness9911 That is how you spell it. Why did you not check a dictionary?

  • Or just glue a long strip of strop leather and add green stropping compound. It will be like 8000 grit so it will take hours but there is little or no risk. Just face the phone screen down onto it and run it along the leather back and fourth and it will slowly go back like brand new.

  • does it really work?

  • Really liked this video.

    Voice was hilarious :)

  • Cant believe you bought a phone for 200 bucks and it was that fucked.

  • I am scared to do it on my Curve 9360, I don't have insurance and really don't want it to go wrong, but I have a few deep scratches, witch are very annoying.

  • Great video, and fantastic humor :o) dont ever change

  • ure a legend i laughed ny ass of

  • Exact same technique for polishing up cars :)

  • Hey look its the guy from technobuffalo

  • noo the sand paper made it worse >:(

  • Nice vid, maNg~>

    (:D)

  • Nice this is what I needed

  • Bro your phone is water damaged lol

  • John: Did the 3M Rubbing Compound make the screen look and feel like it is brand new? By brand new, I mean if you put the screen under a microscope, you will not see any scratch at all. The reason I am asking this question is because I am looking for a way to restore the LCD screen on my DSLR digitial camera to its factory condition. Thanks.

  • Miguars scratch x 2.0 works for fine scratches to I got my iPod touch 2g and my ps3 and a dvd scratch less with that I'm goona buy more for my iPhone 4

  • what if i couldnt find 3m rubbing compound but i got turtle wax instead do u think it would still work?

  • You can apply this on touchscreen phones also. Repaired a fairly damaged 3Gs screen using the same technique, but is much more easy if you have an electrical tool for polishing :) I didn't, btw :))

  • THIS is a HOW-TO guide is supposed to be, no nonsense, no elevator music time. Well done guys.

  • What microphone is used in your video?

  • Like if you thought he was gonna say "This is technobuffalo!"

  • THE BANANA WORKS! I SWEAR!

  • I used a headlight lens kit from harbor freight... just used the left over stuff... worked great too, but I'm not as entertaining as this guy... good job on this vid.

  • Will this work for I pods

  • Does this work for backside of iPod touch???

  • does this work

  • Do you have to take off my housing on my blackberry bold 9780, or can i just take out the battery and tape the sides good then sand it or will i get water damage?

  • This Guy is Great!

  • I shall not try this with my iPhone 4s....

  • :( I was liking it till he said " not recommend for touch screen phones..."

  • Excellent!!!!

  • i have about 100+ scratches on my psp go, so yeaaaa I'm going to try this. whats the worst that could happen?

  • okay im not gonna do thisfor the 1 scratch i have upon my bold9780 :p

  • one question. where r u loooking at?

  • W0W Nice EYE'z

  • I saw this guy at the store today

  • don't forget the polish!!

  • Will the rubbing compound work for a little small scratch on a Tablet? I got a tiny scratch on my tablet that is bothering me.

  • working for ipod touch?

  • Are you John q from phonedog

  • @TheSgozzo you mean technobuffalo?

  • I was a bit lightened up about this video, however i was disappointed when he said,"not recommended for touchscreen phones" X,D

  • this guys funny

  • amazing thanks^^

  • Would that be safe for a HTC Wildfire S? Because its like a capacitive, touch screen, bad enough it has dust under neith the screen, i want to get rid of scratches >.>

  • Comment removed

  • now you need to make one for cds lol

  • @miguelanimal im not kidding i just put it in the freezer for like a day or more deepending on how srached it is..

it doent damage the cd(or dvd) i forgot about a cd i pt in the freezer left it there for many weeks nothing happened (i have not tried this for blu-ray)

  • u rock even your accent rocks

  • me being cheap :P

  • can you make a video for a verizon env3 ?

  • Fuck this, I'm' still gonna try toothpaste!!

  • @opalil hahahahahahhaha

  • Phone dog

  • WAIT I THINK THATS MY BROTHERS PHONE THAT HE SOLD ONLINE. JUST LIKE THAT. NO JOKE. WTF!!!

  • Can i do this on a touch screen?

  • one question... y r u sanding it? y not just put the paste on at the begining and forget about screwing up ur phone

  • @wadisupyo Polish buffs at a very microscopic level, usually not enough to make a scratch disappear as they are a little too deep. That's where the sandpaper comes in.

  • by sanding it that much wouldnt the screen ge really thin and not fit back in properly.

  • woudn't be easier to just take the screen out.... and isn't it the housing u want to be sanding not the actual screen o.O

  • Any methods for glass

  • i wana try this but the sad part is its an iphone :-( n there is not ONE gotdamn video on that :(

  • Haha cause touch screen has diffrent technology and stuff

  • Last resort? More like first, surefire, resort.

  • you can practice on a cd or dvd too, and it will work on them

  • im subing becuz your cool, your videos are coo, and your cool again

  • i only liked it for the pandabears :l

  • The toothpaste made the scratch on my screen look almost invisible! TRY....

  • @osamamoto really? was it a touchsreen?

  • yes!

  • It worked on my nokia e51 and nokia 6288 and now they look like new!!!!

    Thanks Jon for help!

  • it works with sperto al chohlic?

  • will this wrk on a lgc300 ??

  • Some of u don't pay attention that is why u messed up ur phone... follow directions

  • EVERYONE SHOULD KNOW, THIS IS FOR PLASTIC NOT GLASS! DO NOT DO THIS IF U HAVE AN IPHONE OR ANY KIND OF SCREEN MADE OF GLASS(DIGITIZER)

  • Will this work for an iPhone 4???

  • @CFHDAC33324 no this is for plastic cover lcd screen. glass need to be replaced!

  • awesome video man, same technic we use to get cars looking like glass :P we go from 400 to 600 to 800 to 1000 1500 2000 and if the customer can afford it 3000

  • Wetsanding out scratches takes a lot of practice. I do it on cars and the first couple times I made thing worse. This does work. but technique is everything.

  • thanx very smart

  • How about the eye glasses? Can we also use some fine grit sand paper?

To the 119 thousand people that looked at this clip, the guy is a LUNATIC!!!

  • Jacky Chang?

  • will this work on my iphone 4

  • @abulmagd3 i thought iPhone 4 were designed to be scratch proof...?

  • get all the ladys attention ?? -_- !! loooooooooooooool

  • Why am I watching this?

  • yeeaaah. not gonna do that...

  • It seems to me that this video should have been entitled "To Fuck up your Cell Phone!"

  • not much help cause i have a touchscreen could u make one showing how to remove scratches from my touch screen?

  • The toothpaste does the same as the polish in the last step here, as it also contains fine polishing particles (usually titane dioxide). Lotion, Bananas and whatever are of course bullshit (the lotion might mask the scratches by filling them with oil, but only until your rub it off).

The 400 sandpaper looks too coarse for the job to me - depending on how the screen is made, you could easily rub through a top-layer with it.

    Cheers,

    I.

  • INNOVATIVE AND CREATIVE ! LOVE IT TO THE MAX!

  • your hilarious, this video didn't help me for what i need, but i watched cause your funny shit.

  • can i do without the sanding part, and just rubbing for tiny scratches?

  • Comment removed

  • Nice video, shame you're really annoying.

  • Thanks asshole, now my phone looks like shit and my up button doesn't work.

  • Could you use just the rubbing compound on a touch screen with very small and fine scratches?

  • this DOESNT work, cause 1500 is not fine enough. even 2000 is not fine enough, so you need to use the finest there is - 2500. im telling you this, cause i just tried it with an old glasses i used to wear. and i cant see shit with 2000 finish. ok - i could see shit, but not good enough.
