those were the days were there was more feeling in the voice they projected. Not to meantion the lyrics. now r&b is jus lacking that essence jus like how hip hop is dying do to it's lost generation of lyricist. with out a doubt 80's to the mid 90's was a special time. Now every song we hear happens to promote something other that express feelings and thoughts. it's time we brought that essence bak.

I agree with you and I somewhat disagree also...good music is out there...you just have to search for it. There is still good R&B and Hip Hop out there...just stop paying attention the main stream...that's what I did!
