  • why is everybody all of a sudden interested in cutting taxes or changing the tax system?

    question em!

  • @concussedcarneous You have Got to be kidding!

  • 999 looks like 666 upside down. DUH! Cain is a Federal Reserve Chairman and knows and approves of all that they do and is in agreement with them that the Fed needs no audit. BS

People who work for a wage in exchange for labor do not owe a "tax". Originally Tax was to be on "PROFIT" only. A company takes the revenue less expenses and pays taxes on net profit. I am unable to write anything off of my taxes. If we didn't have a BLOATED government we wouldn't need the BLOATED tax revenues. DUH!

  • (people wo like this play) did you idiots at least spend 30 minutes on this plan, study hard then Ill take back about you guys being idiots. look at both arguements

  • Should high school students pay taxes? How about college students?

  • Re the "Fair" Tax, from Americans For Fair Taxation's own research--

"Not every household would benefit equally, however. (edit) Mid-income category households* would lose because the FairTax would impose a relatively higher tax rate on them." tinyurl 593htl

*those making from $15,000 to $150,000 a year

Supporters cannot challenge the statement that it would raise the effective tax rates of the middleclasses, because doing so negates the research they base their other arguments on.

  • @1969was1969 Have you actually read the Fair Tax book? I have. I had many questions as I was reading it but, by the time I finished it I had no unanswered questions.

  • @glrivera1 Many falsehoods in the book have been revealed. Boortz makes many false styatements, but then, there is no good reason to accept Boortz, an ultrarightwing radio DJ, as some kind of authority on economics anyway. Have you read Americans for Fair Taxation's research, the research Boortz touts? Their own research states very clearly, those making from $15,000 to $150,000 a year "would lose" if this tax were enacted, because they would on average pay in more in as federal taxes.

  • but why did he win Navada? who could possibly vote for this guy?

  • Im as left wing liberal as they come. And I fully support the FAIR TAX.

999 kinna sounds pretty much like the same thing.

  • 47 % don't pay INCOME TAX ! Why , they are too fucking enslaved to the Lucky Predator Class . This is the guy , Boortz , who referred to the ppl in the Superdome

    as trash .

  • i like 0 0 0 from Ron Paul

  • @Redlocokixx Please note that Herman Cain's plan also includes some 000. No payroll tax saves all workers 15.3%, no capital gains tax, no dividend taxes. These 0's all create jobs and a flow of capital to the USA. Plus you get someone who is from a humble background that is very articulate in getting America behind a bold new plan. I don't see RP having much success rallying people to get Congress to attack our problems. Cain is Abel to take them head on with his communication style!

  • @CPAsheldon thank you for the information, its realy good to know more.....but also did you know the Cain did work for the FED, and he never did see the house collapse coming and he was very critical to Ron Paul, that pridict the collapse in 2003 to 2007 ? don't take my words, do like i did to your information, i did chek and search b4 sanding this to you..Thank you.

  • @1soccerfanful I think you got anger issues.

  • Your question Why do I get an exemption for beging married? You don't ,you get a personal exemption, you and your husband, if it disappears you will pay more in taxes...

Why do I get a deduction for having children? It's meant to help working families (less taxes) which your are for..... less taxes?

Do you have children? If you do you pay less in taxes, because of them....

  • Just as I expected, Herman Cain unveils that he will give special incentives for people in poor communities. He is just like all other authoritarians who use tax code to punish and to control behavior. Again, Ron Paul is the only principled candidate with a perfect record of sticking to his philosophy.

  • People just don't understand that they are paying those taxes now. Just because you can't see it, doesn't mean it's not there. The other presidential candidates know but most of them don't WANT to give up the gov's ability to control what we do with the tax code. One of the best things about Cain's plan is that we eliminate the gov's ability to continue social engineering with taxes. Romney said it won't replace state taxes. No, Mitt, the feds can't take away the taxes MA is saddled with.

  • @Rhiannon003 You're a fucking idiot ,the average person will pay a lot more in taxes, with this new plan,

    example

1.no mortgage interest deductions....do you have mortgage interest.

2.No personal exemption, you or your spouse ....This means you..

    3.No children deductions.... Got children?

    4.No second home interest deductions....You ?

    5.No Ira deductions ..You?

Now everything you buy new, Cars, Homes,Food, energy, smart phones, clothes, tools, gets a 9% national sells tax.

  • @mrgetrealpeople Why do I get an exemption for beging married? Why do I get a deduction for having children?

You are thinking of the new system in the same terms as the old. Money earned will be taxed less and the price of goods won't be as bad as you think because the taxes that are involved in the price of things now will be gone or drastically lowered. Besides, you have control over that tax. Buy less. I don't have control over being paid less.

  • @Rhiannon003 999 doubles taxes LLC's, S CORP'S,.LLP's..92% of business owners....example c-corps make up just 8% of american business.

that means 92% of the income passes to the business owner is taxed once, current law , 999 tax plan taxes 9% business 9% income to the owner from that business....effectively taxing 92% of Business owners twice... this law treats all business as c-corps .....the devil is always in the details...

  • @mrgetrealpeople

999 will create jobs and Entice Companies to invest into the USA

Retailers will actually lower the price of goods to augment the the National Sales Tax!

430 billion dollars could be saved by scraping the IRS tax code

lower the lobbyist influence of Congress

  • @mrgetrealpeople

999 is bullshit and so are you if you are bitchin and whining cause you might lose all the above subsidies .

  • Reverse Robin Hood

  • Try this: Abolish the IRS, and instead of taxing, JUST PRINT MONEY.

I'm only half-kidding. We're already printing fake money. Why have an IRS if we're going to do that? Just print a little more and save everyone the headache of filling in forms.

Indeed, the people would still pay, in the form of a diluted dollar, but it's still the most efficient way, and you can't get a fairer tax than that!

  • Dig deeper folks. 9% is a big tax cut for the rich. If your income is from investing then you pay nothing since the capital gains tax will go away. The rich get richer and no, they don't always buy new. They spend most of their money on collectible stuff (cars, boats, etc) that usually are not new. Businesses will not be able to deduct their expenses anymore which will drive up the cost of the merchandise they produce. Add the 9% fed tax + the state + local sales tax and wow, super inflation!

  • Boortz, like Cain, does not give a damn about the poor or the middle class, they are neither one in either of those segments of society. The only people they care about is how to lower the taxes on the rich and keep from having to pay their fair share.

  • Why would people think it is going to be better for the wealthy? Rich people spend more money! Rich people buy NEW things. They do not buy used items like most people do. No tax on used items. HUGE taxes on New things. Wealthy people would be the back bone of our Social Security and Medicare.

  • @glrivera1 Define rich people?

  • @mrgetrealpeople I know the government says it is 250k and above but 100k to me is rich.

  • makes perfect sense. Go Herman Cain.

  • You go, Mr. Cain.

  • What the hell was with the attitude when he said "the 999 plan, have you heard about it?" He doesn't even know what it is, why is he being a smartass?

  • I'm poor, but I'd rather know how much I am going to owe, rather than have to pay someone to find out what I owe!

A genius takes something complicated and simplifies it!

  • @SmallTimeMusicians I'll tell what you owe under his 999 plan, it's a hell of a lot more then you're paying now if your poor as you claim, no deductions for your kids or interest for you house ..... 9% income 9% business tax 9% national sales tax, new car average around 25,000x9=2,250 in tax, average new house 243,900 tax=21,951

Food, energy, clothes, anything new additional 9% national sale tax 88% people will pay more in taxes..
