My chocolate died last year. He was 12 years old. He was my best friend in this world! He went on every hunting trip with me, every trip to town and would even stay in the bed of my truck until I got out of class in college. Take as many pictures as you can and as much video as you can...like the song..."Your gunna miss this" Beautiful dog!

I've loved many dogs and have inevitabley said good-bye to them ... most recently a beautiful german shorthair, Gracie, who lived to be 14 ... she died 3 years ago and I still miss her so much ... thanks for sharing your story ... there's nothing like the love we feel for our dogs!

We were lucky ... Molly's mom belongs to a close friend of ours ... so we actually got to be there for her birth. We know it was a once in a lifetime opportunity and it did really make it special! All my other dogs (I've had many in my life) came to me at 8-10 weeks old. Good luck in your search. One will find you!
