The SGS2 may be faster, but the HTC Sense interface on the HTC over the horrible TouchWiz interface on the SGS2 is much better, and much more important to me than a tiny speed difference

And one point more : Sense makes HTC phones slow down, install similar roms on both phone (Cyanogen Mod on both perhaps) and sensation will be as fast as, may be faster than samsung. In my opinion my old HD2 is even better than GS2 thanks to SENSE! Love HTC and SENSE :)

I don't know why HTC doesn't use super AMOLED. Wish we could combine the two phones. HTC has awesome body design and Sense UI rules but lacks the power of Samsung and badly needs Super AMOLED. If HTC used Super AMOLED it would win hands down... for me anyway. I would trade a tiny bit of speed for a better looking phone and Sense UI.

The GPU is also 2 times more powerfull than the Mali-400, which could explain why you get micro-lags on 3D apps, texture loading is much faster on adreno

So, HD2 gets better score than Sensation on some ROM, does it mean it is faster? I guess not, so, benchmarks don't mean anything, and, just to tell, Sensation: qHD (960×540)+3D complexe interface SGS2: WVGA (800x480)+2D simple interface, so, results are not bad at all considering this ;-)

When in 3D Games, the Sensation is also butter-smooth and there are no lags on MMORPG like Chaos and Order or Dungeon Hunter 2 unlike on the SGS2, which could be explained by faster texture-loading into RAM. Faster UI could be explained by 2D vs 3D, when I change Sense 3.0 for GoLauncher Ex, the Sensation is also smoother (but it is already really fast on the Revolution HD ROM)

So, I would say par, because it awesomness vs awesomness so... XD

@adilgangsta1 Yeah, whatever, both architectures are great, just not working the same way, Camera options are software related so it doesn't count except if you don't know how to install an app, SGS2 colors seemed unrealistic to me (red becomes orange and dark green just doesn't exist) And, the Sensation qHD screen is great to, you should see it with your own eyes to believe it ^_^

Sound on Sensation is GREAT and Adreno 220 is 2.2 times more powerful than Mali400, search on differencebetween

touchwiz is pretty lame, but to be honest sensation has touchscreen issues on sensation 3.0, as well as death grip issue with wi-fi and bluetooth. Don't take my word for it look it up yourself. I had to go through 3 htc sensations. I finally settled for htc desire hd instead. Sensation isn't that good once you get passed 3 weeks of owning one.
