yea i understand wat u sayin but also defence wins champoinships but yea oL anit a bad idea but like u said cant put all preasure on a rookie plus theres no top OL so ill take arron curry take micheal vick in a 2nd round trade pick we need a name and darft a OL and d-linemen and sign free agents
I think you guys need to take an OL. Look how many times the past couple of years Kitna has been sacked. Look at all the decent teams, and most have great lines with average-above average position players as opposed to a crappy line like you guys have, with a superstar receiver. But their isnt an o-lineman worthy of a #1 pick so a trade down would be good and you could also get another pick in the trade
What a steal for Detroit. Redding is a good leader but doesnt compare to J.P. as a playmaker. Now we gotta get B.J. Raji and Rey Malaluga and well have a decent D next year. Please dont take Stafford.
True he isnt good when he is double teamed....but thats something he wont have up here. With Kerney and Mebane, he should be left one on one quite a bit, so it will be interesting to see how he does. And we have a 4 man DT rotation, so he will be fresh most of the time since we rotate so much
Probably my favorite player, or at least in a tie with Kerney and Trufant. Hurts to see him go, but Redding will be nice in the middle. JP seemed to a lose a little something in coverage the past two seasons, but the guy can still go get the QB...an absolute monster
Its a D.C thing...some of the best players in the league are from the D.C area
Lights out, Peterson, Leftwich, Vernon Davis, Cribbs, Derrick Williams, Navaro, Lavar, Darnell Dockett, Derrick Burgess, Ej Henderson, Josh Wilson, Derrick Harvey, Cato June, Damn I almost forgot Brian Westbrook whooo...and watch out for Darius Hayward Bay
Well he knew he wasnt gonna be able to keep 44, he said he just wanted to try it for the PS. He had to choose 59 because Wistrom had 98 while he was here.
He wore #98 when he was in San Francisco, and when he came here Grant Wistrom had it. Baraka Atkins had it last year, so the two just switched numbers this season
My favorite player (followed closely by Kerney). I love his enthusiasm. He gets the whole team and the whole stadium fired up. You have to see a game in person to really appreciate how much he lifts his teammates and cares about the fans.
poor guy is with the lions rotting away now

dam we need him back

I'll have to respectfully disagree. He is now 30 and still has 3 more years on a pretty hefty contract, and Curry has been pretty good.

one more person wouldnt hurt.

I was down when he left the Niners, but we forgot him as soon as the Great PATRICK WILLIS ARRIVED!

First of all he's clearly a HYBRID OLB not a DE..he's only 240 but very quick which enables him to blow past fat tackles.
But to answer your questions DL to be more specific DE/OLB/LB can wear jesey # 50-59 & 90-99
I don't really rememeber him wearing #44 it was just in Madden...because thats what they give to the longshot LB's in preseason
FOR3FOWTY 3 years ago
He did wear #44 in the 2006 preseason. He signed a football for me and put #44 on there as well.
MPetrovich7 3 years ago
he is always chaging his jersey number first it was 44 then 59 now 98

Uh, Peterson is still wearing 59.
VHBravo1 3 years ago
No he changed to 98 this season. Look at some pictures of him in training camp. Or even check the roster
MPetrovich7 3 years ago
Damnit! Now I have to buy ANOTHER JP jersey...
VHBravo1 3 years ago
Why do he change his nomber? Is he changinf to DL?

MPetrovich7 3 years ago
but isn't 90+ number is for DL?
philanderadriaan 3 years ago
It can be, but LBs can have 50-99 as well. Like Darryl Tapp has #55 but is a DE
