@ShinyDoll143 Luffy sounds like his original japanese voice, so its fine. Usopp and Nami you can always get used to. Robin sounds AMAZING, probably the best voice actor in the whole crew. Sanji I admit gets a little getting used to, but Zoro (FUN FACT: ZORO MEANS FOX IN SPANISH) actually sounds pretty damn good. Chopper sounds fine I suppose, being how he's just a petite deer. And I've never seen Franky in action, so meh.

also, in the baroque works saga, between the little garden and drum kingdom arcs, nami says "quick turn to the left/right!" and then a giant cyclone appeared in the path they were going to take. Vivi then thinks to herself "cyclones in the grand line are impossible to predict!" then she turns to nami "who IS this woman?!"

usually when that sequence happens in one piece, there a rather... interesting story behind it....

i think that's foregrounds for light forshadowing...

Robin has always called the crew by what they are. Like Sanji, Mr. Cook, (Or Cook-San), or Chopper Mr. Doctor (Or Doctor-San). She called Nami, Nami-chan, in the Thriller Bark arc. It's something to do with the whole CP9 stuff.

I am definitely a supporter of the Original Japanese voices, However the Funimation voices are much better then the 4Kids ones. Also considering they don't have the original voices, that leaves pretty big shoes to fill. I think they did a decent job with it. Not as good as what it should be, but not bad either. This is my opinion however.

Now I must agree that the voices AREN'T bad. I mean, most of the VA's take to their character quite well. Robin's deeper voice sure did throw me off a bit but it still works nicely. Franky was also one that somwhat threw me off but after listening to it I began nodding in agreement to the choice of VA.

Really the one that threw me off the most was Franky's but just because the Jap VA is more high pitched than the Eng VA.
