  • poor guy!! very disorganized! he has severely reduced protraction/elevation of the hyolaryngeal complex, as well as a weak tongue base and reduced pharygeal constriction. i would love to know how he progressed with therapy!

  • messy & scary swallow for sure! delayed & disorganized oropharyngeal function as well as silent aspiration with tons of vallecular & pyriform residue. decreased sensation as pt had to be cued to cough with limited results. would likely trial estim to help strengthen swallow function/coordination/sensatio­n.
