What's the other currency in V, if there is one?

Why pump up skills that are easy to grind? I put it all in Luck and/or other skills that are hard to (like Int).

Because then you don't have to grind. QFG games were always very forgiving with stats...you don't need a luck and intel of 500000 in order to win.

Ah, but some of us completionists (bad habit, I know) like to max everything out and so look for the most efficient ways of doing so, including putting free points in the harder to grind stats.

I saw the last few Quest for Glory Epic videos, so when I saw the title screen for the fifth game here it was like a bomb went off inside my head... That only happens when I experience deja vus.

I think it is possible to go back to nob hill and then to his castle via the teleporter to talk to him, as long as it is before he gets that sleeping poison stuff, if i remember corerctly. Havent played this in years

Yes if you go passed the Colosseum there is a gazebo with a wizard's hat. If you have magic stand in it and cast trigger, if not click on it and select kick. you'll get transported to a matching platform outside his home.

I still love that the copy protection back in the day of these games was LITERALLY a book they gave with the book and would ask what the word of "page 6, paragraph 3, word 11" was when you ran the .exe
