Yo whatz up man i have a question on the Andis T-Outliner Trimmer. I just bought it mainly because i want a close shave under my chin but I dont get a close shave. Usually, when i shave under my chin it feels sharp on my razor bumps but when my barber shaves the ingrown hairs under my chin it comes out perfect and smooth without that sharp feeling which I want. I already tried adjusting the clippers to the same length, but still the same thing??

@beantownn54 try gently using the liners to cut off most neck or chin hair kinda like a rough draft and the little stubbles of hair that is left over just wash the area you will be shaving and use soap or shaving cream and shave the rest with a standard razor use hot water and the hair will cut like butter

Anyway, the main problem with beards like this is that they they start looking bad after about three days as your hair starts to go back. You can either risk cutting the new-growth yourself (and fucking up what the barber did) or just wait until the next time you go to the barbershop (which means you have to walk around unshaven for a few days)

This client's corners are not so close to his eyebrows so it allows me to use the single edge blade which is MUCH wider. It is also sturdier. Sometimes I like the feel of using the single edge razor blade. I use the double edge razor more though.
