  • John needs to do more music with a blues feel or just blues music in general.

  • I don't know what it is, but I think JM blows. Sorry for those that like him, no disrespect. I have tried for many years to understand why I do not like JM. I guess I just don't buy it... sorry : (

  • He's like Stevie Ray Vaughan but provided you know that no one could match him..

    SRV is better..

  • @solihinachmad1989 you can't compare a LEGEND with a young guy that is a genious, but not a legend yet, you know what i mean? its the same that i compare JH with kenny wayne sheppard

  • 1. Stevie Ray Vaughan

    2. Kenny Wyne Shepherd and John Mayer :)

  • stevie ray vaughan.........

    john mayer.....

    EXACTLY THE SAME

  • @Jamelejecutivo what??????????? john mayer maybe a killer player but he will NEVER be Stevie Ray Vaughan! not even close...same goes for SRV and Hendrix...there both great but i dont think Stevie would had ever been as good or came close to him..but its not bout who's better its about the feeling you get listening to these guys!

blues is a universal language..doesnt matter where u are in the world the blues is always reconizable!

  • @ecmfreestyle no men, mayer is the best how srv and hendrix

  • wow i did not expect someone to get so close to stevie, though a few miles behind the intensity, but the composure is there.... wow i had no idea. tip of the hat.

  • @angeldvera John Mayer is very good. But the intensity is there because of Double Trouble. ;)

  • Wow! Double trouble still can groove just as they did with Stevie.

  • I like what he did with this song. He hit a few SRV licks, but he does not sound like SRV. When someone covers a song, I really do not think they should try to sound like the original artist. Also, I would like to point out that Mayer's attack on the guitar is a lot different than that of Stevie. Mostly, Mayer uses his fingers. SRV used the back part of a pick with some pickin here and there.

  • @curtgenerowe It's nice to see people that actually know what they're talking about

  • @bgstrat62 i have to agree... im an insane fan too of both! stevies style was so much for punchy and most of all loud..

  • ive been searching thiss for yearssssssssssssss

  • this was back in the day when john wore normal clothes...

  • YAHHHh!

  • OMG, JM playing SRV, WTF, IMHO it was TDF.

  • @DennisFranz Dude!...whats with all the acronyms?!

  • That's the Stevie Ray Vaughan back-line by the way.

  • John Mayer play very good blues :)

  • Mayer has just garnered a new level of respect from me after seeing this.

  • i love the ACL My stupid mouth 2003 version. Do you happen to have it?

  • Nice one.. Aloha
