Battling on wifi would have lots of complications. You can play co-op locally though.

The gameplay reminds me of FF XII -_- But the sprites look brilliant though. Normally RPG games in DS or GBA have a pixilated characters. But this one is beautifully rendered

Awesome game, I downloaded it in English, however it has been translated by someone (don't know who) and I have no telling if it's fully translated either.

For the people interested, the story (so far) isn't anything new but just under new names.

"Monsters have come and are called 'travelers', you're part of a 7 man squad fighting those visitors. You go the basic HP/MP af course, whereas the MP is called SP/Soma Points.

The skills however are interesting, nothing new either but I think it's a first for the DS(?). You get 3 skill points each level and can put them in new spells, each spell has a category and some can only be used when equipped with the right weapon.

You can also set spells in Weaponskill which are always and automaticly activated increasing the damage/accuracy/succes rate for that weapon.

Since I'm still in the beginning of this game I got no clue fi you can max all spells or not.

If it's not the case which it looks like then you can compare it to Diablo II for the ones familiar with that and you can specialize whatever class you use (picked at the beginning) and concentrate on that section of spells.

For example I chose Welt as my character, the one you also see in the video. And gave him "Kampfs" as a race.

The 4 spell categories I can level things up in are;

Fist.

Dual.

2H Club.

Assassin.

I'm not sure if all the spells/skills are the same for each race but I'll find that out on my second run through the game or earlier if people specifically want to know.

It also seems that each category so to say (the 4 listed above in my second commend) have 4 rankings. Right now I'm still at the first rank and haven't unlocked the second one yet. I guess it's either by maxing all the rank 1 spells first or obtaining all the ones in each category.

I'll update that one too once I got it.

each class gets its own skill tree and restricted weapon choices.

more advanced rank skills are opened up every 10 levels. It's generally pointless to try to max out every skill, except for the personal state/boost skills page (if it's available for the the class)
