@pansyanddraco I requote myself: I was only stating my opinion, I do not intend to irritate or offend but I'm also not going to keep silent just because others might disagree with my opinion. Religion, including yours, does do much good in the world. However it is those who take it to extreme measures that are guilty of some of the worst crimes in humanity that is all I was saying.

I do not agree with the old protestant beliefs either since their view on witches put many innocent women to death among many other things. The church overall has been the biggest fraud in history of the human kind.

I know that, in reality, Cromwell was a really nasty guy who lied and tortured to bring about the downfall of Anne Boleyn, but James Frain's portrayal of him is excellent and heartfelt. Sure, the real Cromwell doesn't deserve pity, but Frain deserves something for that very well done performance.

If you haven't seen her (Sarah Bolger) in the movie "In America", you should. She and her real-life sister were in it together, and it's one of the greatest movies I've ever seen mostly because of the 2 of them.

@astridbelge english historians call her bloody mary, but they never gave a name to henry 8th. he killed thousands of people. the english just gave mary that name because she was catholic and henry wasn't (later on). same reason why queen elizabeth wasn't given any names, even though she killed a lot of people. the english chose to punish killers that were not protistant, but the ones who were, have no negative names.

While Henry searched for love in the wrong places, his daughter Mary found hers... but evil daddy couldn't bear the though of Mary being happy and getting married and possibly having a son to usurp the throne from Thomas, he sent Phillip away. Poor Mary!
BTW, great acting there... you could feel her pain.
