It took two summers to rough in and landscape 18 holes. I was only there for 3 months building greens and doing a lot of repair work to sections that were washed out by rain before the grass had a chance to take root. As far as I know it still didn't open as they still had a lot of repair work to do this summer as well as finishing up odds and ends.
