  • Thumbs up if you know of a different captain jack, who danced to a different moonlight serenade....

  • beast

  • Why don't we do what Jack said and hit the 'like' button?

"Because it's Jack Sparrow who said it".

    lol

  • jeez so many epic comments. why cant all of youtube comments be like this D: instead of the pathetic arrow to the knee joke

  • We felt the Aztec gold's curse.

We searched for the Dead Man's Chest.

We got Jack back from the Locker

We made it to the Fountain of Youth.

    Keep Pirates alive.

  • "You're off the edge of the map, mate. Here there be monsters."

  • Jack: Now give me that horizon.

  • get back to work you scandalous dogs!!

  • drink up me hearties yo-ho

  • I love this song! It gets SO epic at 1:30. :D

  • 5 people ran out of rum.

  • 5 people clearly havent been to singapore.

  • @mandaloriandood why Singapore?

  • @Alvida2101 after Jack saves Elizabeth he rips off her corset and the fat soldier says he never wouldve thought of that and Jack says :Clearly you've never been to Singapore"

  • @Unova39 but why Singapore?

  • @Alvida2101 because its a line in the first film.

  • this should be a song listened to at christmas.

  • I love this song <3

  • We've got 411 pirates and only 5 bottles of rum to go around. Life seems bleak :(

  • I know exactly what you mean love :})

  • Why is the rum ALWAYS gone? :(

  • Barbosa: Your off the edge of the map now mate. Here there be monsters!

  • whats the new one like??

  • @thesomewhatmistified Its ok. Worth seeing once at least, but it feels VERY different from the others. The characters are a little flat (including Jack o_O), the story is too straight forward (no big twists like the others), and it felt kinda short (not a lot of development). Decent movie, but the first one is still my favorite :)

  • @Nufalak k thanks for the input really must see it :P

  • Thumbs up if you agree that Pirates of the Caribbean ROCKS!

  • @RedArmySoldier1939 It more then rocks, it's one of the most amazing set of films ever :D

  • @badwolfgirl1 Hell yeah!!

  • This song gives me the chills, in a good way of course. I close my eyes and I feel like I'm standing out on the cliff of a Caribbean island with the wind in my hair, thinking about freedom and life, and then I have the urge to take out my practice sword and start swinging away at invisible pirates.

    Amazing!

  • Klaus Badelt and Hans Zimmer couldnt have done a better job for POTC because their songs are awsome just the way they are

  • one of my favourite songs of this soundtrack

  • ah I love this song! I have the music for it on cello and it is so beautiful :D

  • i was in tears.....____________beautiful!!!!!!!

  • Close your eyes, don't think anything. Listen to music, music of Pirates Of The Caribbean. You can see the fantastic movie, the fantastic story. You can heard best words of Jack. You can feel Will's love to Elizabeth. You can taste rom, you can touch the Black Pearl. You're on the sea, you're free. And all of that you can do, if you can dream, dream the freedom like Jack. Be free like Jack. And all the time, you listen soundtracks of Pirates. <333

  • @FiiASi You misspelled Rum

  • @JozyandZeke Someone call the President we have a grammar nazi here!

  • @The79Machine No im just saying how could you misspell rum its like the easiest word ever and plus its rum!

  • @JozyandZeke maybe he had too much (rom)! =D

  • @The79Machine hahaha you cheeky swine =D

  • @JozyandZeke He was drunk?

  • @FiiASi that's beautyfull but i can't close my eyes cause i'm reading your comment

  • @FiiASi Fuck you ! I thought of nothing and relaxed. Suddenly I jizzed because the music is so f'ing great ! :(

  • @FiiASi You have truly captured the spirit of a pirate.

  • @FiiASi Well said, Jack

  • @FiiASi well said mate

  • @FiiASi Amazing! You're exactly right. Thank you.

  • @FiiASi I love your comment

  • @FiiASi and then... you wake up and remember that you have a life, good or shitty, but you keep listening until the sun rises.

  • @FiiASi Epic comment is epic

  • @FiiASi *rum*

  • @thomas0comer everyone make mistakes.

  • i cant wait to see part 4! :D

  • Jack: (imitating Elizabeth) “Must’ve been terrible for you to be trapped here, Jack . Must’ve been terrible for you.” Well it bloody is now! [spots the Dauntless] There’ll be no living with her after this.

  • @pottyaboutpotter1 HAHA That's one of my favorite parts...

Then again, the whole movie is my favorite part :D

  • Jack: No! Not good! Stop! Not good! What are you doing? You burned all the food, the shade! The rum!

Elizabeth : Yes, the rum is gone.

Jack : Why is the rum gone?

Elizabeth : One, because it is a vile drink that turns even the most respectable men into complete scoundrels. Two, that signal is over a thousand feet high. The entire Royal Navy is out looking for me, do you really think that there is even the slightest chance that they won’t see it?

Jack : But why is the rum gone?

  • dang i will be sad when the movie series ends. D:

  • The start... Passionate, Elegant, Beautifal, Soft.... allowing the listener to relax and clam ones nearve. leting it soak into the soul and ease the pain of the past, it buids up, sending a surge of emotions through to the heart. a feeling of whats right over powers the listener. this all before. the climax!! the drums and Bass thunder in!! the tention bulids, and the soul is enraged with emotions . you stand and draw your sword, ready to fight, ready to win. then your let down by the ending.

  • 5 people werent in theaters in july 9th.

  • I was looking for Glen Miller's Moonlight Serenade, but this is pretty neat too

  • the beginning is so elegant and then the main tune comes blasting in...I LOVE IT!!!

  • It's amazing how I'm a fan of these tracks but never heard this one before. O,o

  • 1:31 = Let's do this!

  • Pirate of the Caribbean Best Soundtrack evah! <3

  • *dies from amazment*

  • there are 5 assholes in the world and they are the ppl who disliked this fucking video!!

  • All movies have an underlying theme in the soundtrack.

    Honestly.

  • at the end it kind of starts sounding like He's A Pirate

  • Goooooooooose bumps!!!!!

    :)

  • @Lisatuttefrut yo whats the soundtrack that plays when elizabeth falls in the water and the gold starts calling to the pirates? and the weather gets all bad?

  • @JacksMagicBean Do you mean 'The medallion calls'???

  • @Lisatuttefrut No......every one I found is just like Jacksparrows theme. Like you know, his entrance to the movie

  • @JacksMagicBean

    CAPTAIN Jack Sparrow.

  • PIRATE MUSIC!!!! I LOVE ITTTT

  • This may be off topic, but why is it that this song is so great with the violin, yet a million people have to post freaking tutorials of how to play this song on the piano?

  • @Lardman678 cus less people play the violin, and people like me want to know how to play such an epic song on the piano.

  • First Disney Movie Where I see, people killing each other and shooting each other, or drinking or trying to rape a girl, but if that wouldn't appear it wouldn't be a pirates movie ;D

  • 5 people, have obviously never been to Singapore :/

  • @BaronVonChaos69 Clearly not.

  • One of my Favorite Songs and such heavy impact on my ears. Gives me chills everytime. This is also one of the best parts in Disney California Adventures "World of Color"

  • 4 people don't like to be serenaded

  • when i`m maryied i want them to play this song at my wedding 8D

  • Thumbs up if I´m right!

  • Some parts sound exactly like Hans Zimmer´s theme for "The Rock" e.g. 0:37 - 0:50 or 1:07 - 1:11

  • @Mussletopf Hans Zimmer is the composer, if you listen to more of his work then you will notice he uses the same techniques in most and I often hear motifes from one movie in another :3 He's a jeeeneeus

  • I'm maybe about to figure skate to this very beautiful song <3 I'm not sure yet if I pick this one, but I want to.

  • Old 17th century ;'( and...Tortuga :'(

  • i have one thing to say: all comments on this video are wierd and scary

  • Goosebumps!

  • Zimmer and Badelt: the gods to my music

  • sometimes I forget disney made this movie

  • @alexzracer2008 same type of implausible and hilarious methods of escape seen in Aladdin, Peter Pan, and several of the older classics, particularly the humor-oriented ones.

  • overall I like Zimmer better but I love the way Klaus utilizes the percussion.

  • ooooh I've found my wedding march :D up to 1.16 yaay :D

  • @KimOfDrac

MY wedding march is up to 2:10 :D

  • Genius!

  • I can play this on the piano. Up to about 1:14

  • damn i wanna be in this movie! anyone know where the auditions are? or are they over?

  • my orchestra is playing a medley of moonlight serenade, blood ritual, and black pearl for our spring concert

  • @lollollol189 ahhhh! i am so jealous! i wish my school band would do something interesting like that!

  • @dailydreamergirl lol well since we're in orchestra we usually get crappy music cuz the band is always more of a priority than us. >.< so we were really excited

  • @dailydreamergirl me too.i wish my conductor cn reali giv us epic music dat showcases the horns lyk the pieces in POTC:S

  • Okay the melody that starts 1:37 is like in every POTC song, or isn't it? But it's okay 'cause i like this part.

In general i don't play an instrument (anymore), but in school we learn some songs on the keyboard (not this one), so once i try to play just by playing the melody in my head. and after a few minutes it worked :) i was so happy :D

  • @90paula2 it is: i tried to play the part from 1:37 just by hearing the melody in my head.

(sorry I do not come from england/america)

  • @90paula2 I've done that too :D

  • I love the potc movie & soundtracks,

what I think when I hear this song is; in the beginning I feel relaxed and like if I was dreaming, and then Oh my freaking god! goosebumps xP

  • amazing song..

  • I am sooo obsessed with Pirates of the Caribbean. Will alway be my favorite movie!

  • how epic can this get....

    i just love it...

  • will always have a place in my music heart.

  • What part of the movie is this from?

  • The ending is epic

  • don't forget this is supposed to fit the film itself rather than being individual soundtracks that sound really amazing! =) so don't slag it off ^_^

  • Yay!

  • This song will never die from my heart!!!

  • One word:  ---->Beautiful!!!!!

  • thats not the word

    genius...no

    unbelievable... no

    theres no word for this

  • Wow its the best song of the movie

  • I hear ya man.

  • the best song of this movie....!

  • amazing low brass/woodwind followed by an epic part :)

  • this song is so elegant and song it invades the very corners on my mind its 1 of the best tracks ive ever heard out of disnep plus its not too kiddish so adults can love it 2

  • wow 1:35

  • i love the beginning to 1:15

  • same here, the rest of tune is still epic though

  • WOW

  • I absolutely love this track in particular,It gives off that good vibe in the beggining, then slowly turns into an epic sound that absolutely leaves me breathless after it pierces the very confines of my ears :)

  • that's so beautiful *.*

  • Gives me chills everytime i hear it

  • The beginning of the song is so elegant and soft. Then builds into a strong and power mood. I swear that Pirates of the Caribean has the best of Disney's latest soundtracks.

  • A couldn't say that better myself

  • @kutiekrissy totally agreed!

  • @kutiekrissy

well duhhhh... it waz composed by Hans Zimmer lol

  • @WhiteAndNerdyy

    no it´s Klaus Badelt.

  • @enimis94

badelt did the 1st movie, zimmer did the last 2 which i personally think sounded better

  • @kutiekrissy It does have the best out of most movies(not just Disney). It's because of the great Zimmer. ^_^

  • @Tation5 Well, Klaus Badelt composed these pieces for POTC1.

  • @Armor800E He did, but Hans Zimmer sort of Supervised him, as they wanted hans zimmer to begin with, but as he was doing another movie, they hired Klaus Bedelt to do it, under the "Supervision" Of Hans Zimmer, so Hans Zimmer's touch is there too :)

  • is this supposed to be an allusion to glen miller's moonlight serenade? you can vaguely make it out in the beginning.

  • i tried to hear it as well but he must have transformed it really a lot if it is; Im a musician myself and I found it hard to recognise it. In fact, it sounds more like it isn't an allusion than the other way around..

  • this was something for Mozart

  • moonlight sonata played in resident evil ds

  • on our marriage day, we will play this song to come into the room in front of all the people, before dinner!!

  • great idea! the beginning part of the music is so romantic!

  • 1:40 <3

  • boaa so geil..soo geil!! ich liebe es

  • The song you're thinking of is "Moonlight Sonata", maybe?

  • this pirates moonlight serenade

  • st 10 broken...

  • this is composed by hans zimmer, isn't it?

  • Yes, it is, partial.

Hans Zimmer began with composing songs for the first Pirates Of The Caribbean movie, but then Klaus Badelt finished them, because Hans hadn't enough time.

  • i thought klaus badelt started for the first movie because Hans zimmer had'nt enough time, Then hans Zimmer did the music for two and three

  • really? I thought Zimmer did the first movie too, because the music DEFINITLEY sound like him!!!

  • Klaus Badelt was taught under Hans Zimmer, thats why. Example: the music from Transformers sounds like Hans Zimmer. That's becuz the composer was taught under hans.

  • I think this theme / one day / drink up me hearties are the best ones.

  • i think pirates of the caribbean has the best film music i´ve ever heard!

    klaus badelt is cool

  • Lord of the rings is better but this is eargasmic too

  • I agree, I don't think anything can beat out the LOTR score, but the POTC music definitely comes in second place.

  • oh all the soundtracks are like..woow...Pirates of the caribbean must have the best film music ever...

  • I wouldn't say that..but as a humoristic action movie it definiatly hits first place.

You can have more than one favourite ya know.. ;)
