  • I like that -- i think my preference would be the opposite: tap the button to prime it, hold it to start it... or a super long hold from the beginning to prime+start it.

  • ...it's not about speed, it's not about practicability, it's simply way cooler than an old fashioned key.

Changing the wating time is done in a fraction ofd a second. Just change the value in the software.

  • whats the point of have these gay things, like a normal key you putt it in an start the engine . . . ur way really fast, But wif these push start things u have to keep pushing it & wait like 5 hour till u can start ur engine. but thats just my opinion

  • whats wrong with a key or even an old push start now they got faggy ones like that that seem impractical

  • @77sierra1

Well, in that case call it "personal preference" ... I like the clean steering column without a lock.

  • takes too long i would have been out of the drive way by the time you started the car with just a normal key

  • @amaranath exactly, and it is far too easy to steal now! No insurance company would cover that here in the UK. No steering lock either, again it's not something any UK insurer would cover!

I don't see the point in start buttons when I can use a key with an immobiliser built in to it.

  • Using a small µProcessor :-)

  • how do u do that
