  • Get out ma way u Volvo driver lol Sunday driver got lost I think

  • That was my favorite part about the Celi... always had a great feel behind the wheel.

  • some good driving the track does look really slidy

  • looks like a nice low grip drift track to me ;)

had my st205 on the one at oulton park was aswome

  • @WelshieGT4 The track is being used for lots of different things, but the drifting series here also use the track. Search for "powerdrift eikås" on youtube (cut and paste so you get the funny Norwegian characters), and you will find many drifting videos from there :)

  • looks more like figure skating than racing

  • @SuperColossal33 If you had read the video description you would have seen: "More having fun then racing really ;)" Figure skating I wouldn't know, never watch that, so I don't have the comparison, I'll have to take your word for it! Have a good day now and enjoy your figure skating ;-D

  • I want this track in my back yard.

  • At first i thought the car teleported...

    then i was like, WHOAH! there's 2...

  • gotta give this a go in my GT4. done the off-road rally thing recently, along a beach, drifting through the shallow surf, it's so easy to get these things to hold some mad AWD powerslides on the hard sand, fun too!

  • That looks like a good time. :D

  • the way you people are driving them, i wouldn't take them if you paid me. that isn't driving at all. you shouldn't be hearing skidding as you're going around the corners. a sad sad day for the gt4

  • @Xaavier26 Its there car they bought it they fix it... if they want to get loose why not man lol dont say u dont like playing around in ur car lol i bet ud be the one driftin around corner streets lol

  • @Branden1119 hey let em. but they are saying they are selling them. you have any idea what driving a car that way does? and besides they aren't even controlled maneuvres. stfu. and no i dont' drive my truck or my car that way~!

  • @Xaavier26 damn you're a wuss. the driving in this video isn't that hard on the cars. there is much worse that you can do to a vehicle.

  • @BCmountainDriver No, but I can do that same course without ever screaching my tires.. why the fuck buy 800$ tires only to fucking ruin them by driving like a fucking moron that needs prosack?

  • @Xaavier26 Some people enjoy drifting, and i do myself very much. Go troll somewhere else.

  • @Xaavier26 Umm excuse me, but i think i hear screeching in the tarmac rally vids of this beautiful chassis back from 1992.

Why yes, yes i do. How odd. Surely they must know that's not how you drive a gt4? :O

But maybe i'm just imagining things, after all, rally drivers of this caliber would know what there doing surely ;)

  • Oh so awesome, I love those cars so much. Only ever had a FWD to play with though.

Looks like a pretty awesome day to come to the track... only a few cars! Where's it at?

  • @ghostdoghaelo Great fun at this outdoor go-cart track at Eikås Motorsportsenter in just outside of Bergen, Norway :)

  • I like Kenneth's driving skillz

  • This looks like so much fun! I cant wait to get a GT4 or something AWD!

  • love the sound of squeeking wheels in the morning ( in Holland now B-) )

  • squeeking tires I presume? Squeeking wheels are never a good thing:)

  • oh sorry, yes that's what I mean ( i'm dutch ), tires in dutch = wielen, so I translated it to wheel ^.^

  • Stil not correct. It would be still "wielen" and "banden" in Dutch:)

    Ik ben ook Nederlands:)

  • haha kut XD....k.....jij wint ;)

  • Damn, I want my Carlos Sainz back so BAAAD now. =( Idiot drove from a parking lot and hit my Celica, and it's being repaired now. Watching these vids doesn't ease the pain =(

  • nice go cart track

  • i would get gt4 way better the wrx but good luck on finding one, it took 6 years for me to find one, an it was a parts car for someone else project. I'm way happy with mine. I don't play in the drit much but its awsome when dump about 5k in engine mods. Close to 350 hp and 290 trq

  • There's plenty of them in the UK, mostly Japan imports, just look on eBay if you're interested. The only problem is that I would swap 4yr old WRX for over 10yrd old GT4 and we all know these cars are not driven slowly to local supermarket. I would need a second car for everyday use for my family and don't have space now. Anyway, GT4's are amazing machines and one day I'll get it just for fun. :)

  • Is it oversteering by nature or you played some tricks to make it go sideways? I'm somewhat dissapointed with my WRX understeering like a fat pig in the dirt and GT4 is on my 'cars to consider' list.

  • I'de say they are understearing stock. Not to say that you can't force the rear out by some agressive break counter slide, or even ebreak (though that is rumored to not be to healthy for the center diff) But if you install a cusco rear diff like I have it's easy to kick out the rear by pushing the right foot down :)

  • Handbrake turns should be fine as long as you step on the clutch, otherwise you can easily burn centre diff, same as in subaru.

  • How'd you get your hands on a Carlos Sainz? I want one so rediculus badly, there is nothing butter!

  • I imported mine from Germany, the other CS in the video is imported from Switzerland.

  • would it happen to be for sale?

  • never :)

  • i adore these cars

  • nicest drift was at 1:30

  • Comment removed

  • The volvo won XD!!!

  • the black saloon is a sierra sapphire has a cosworth turbo engine came in rwd and 4x4, wouldnt have the handling capabilities keep up with celica on this small track which looks to me like a go kart track... lol at volvo bein a nuisance definitley has no buisness bein there

  • i wish my celica was 4wd or rwd :[

  • fwd or rwd??

  • 4wd ;)

  • do these celica's come 4wd stock?

  • They come both as FWD GT and 4WD GT4 models

  • and in a way can kinda say RWD with the MR2's because they are somewhat a Celica as well.

  • the driver in the BMW really sucks!!

  • man i wanna try this with my gt4 XD

  • are these cars left or right hand drive?

  • The two cars in the video where sold new in Germany and Switzerland respectively, and are thus left hand drive. the ones sold in the UK and Japan where right hand drive.

  • Where is this track?

  • It's in Norway, I put the google map cordinates on the video, don't know why they do not show. geo:lat=60.48031674630935 geo:lon=5.373859405517578

  • I CANNOT believe that even in this circumstance a VOLVO driver manages to get in the way and make a nuisance of himself. What a funny world. hahaha

  • sweet...jus bought me one of these...Ausum green paint job. Mags. wid tha bucket seats o course lol

  • makes me feel bad. i traded my stock GT4 for a fully tuned and rebuilt GTI...:/

  • this is like the tightest track, must be for gocart or something

  • It is an outdoors gocart track, the tightness of the track doesn't leave much room for error when sliding around, that's for sure :)

  • gt4 gotta b one of the best handling cars ever made rally pedigree thats for sure.

  • This is my favorite car but the ones on this video looked like garbage

  • I can see why my dad sold his Porsche 924 for the celica gt-four now!

  • ahaha looks like fun and loving the ride.

    *sigh* bloody volvo drivers lol

  • dude the track is all wet....

  • dude that is the fun part...

  • not if you are trying to stay on the track

  • It does not really make it harder to stay on the track when it is wet, It just means you are not driving on the limit when it is dry then. It's always a challenge to drive on the limit, whether it is dry or wet. However, a wet track lets you play at the limit at a lower speed, so IF you go off the track the consequences are not that big. I've gone sideways after a hard late breaking from almost 200 kph at Arctic Circle Raceway (different track, and dry). That's fun to, but also a tad bit scary:)

  • wat track is this? is it private? good driving

  • Thanks, it's a small track, but we manage to have some fun :)

The track is located at "Eikås Motorsportsenter" on the outside of city Bergen in Norway, and can be rented from the grope that manage it.

  • GT4s rule, i had a Gen5 GT4, sold it buy a Gen6 WRC GT4. The Gen5 are the better looking car, but too difficult to get decent power out of them. Far easier and cheaper with the ST205

  • Make some vids and put on the tube :)

  • uhhh...not

they have almost identical engine setups.... the main difference being the water to air intercooler on the 3rd gen 3sgte that comes in the 205...but for serious power you would have to go bigger and better anyway

  • well, the 3.gen has the commonly referd to as "CT20b" turbo that's a lot better than the 2.gen CT26. 540 injectors, better fuel rail and inlet manifold. That is just some of the improvements to the engine. Also it was a more efficient W2A Inter cooler compared to both the normal GT4 A2A and the CS W2A. Also 3.gen has more agressive cams that helps get that little extra power. pushing a 3.gen to 300 flywheel hp is just as easy as pushing a 2.gen to 250hp. :)

  • that looks hella fun! i just got a 5th gen celica a few weeks ago and im about to turbo it!! i wanna take it someplace like this!

  • I can't wait til I get the capability and the finances to turn my 95gt into a 95gt4. That looks like a lot of fun.

  • ma dad got a gt4 4ws there really nice cars

  • yeah that does look mad fun :P

but why don't i see any of the 7 gen Celicas?

  • I guess fensport didn't have time to join us ;)

  • nice vid yeeaa 5th gen celicass :D

  • looks like fun, too bad i got no place like that to run to and rip my tires up, oh well

  • Gutta ute å herjer på eikås. Hehehe

    Fett med 4wd (avogtil)

  • Nice drifts guys! I know how hard it is to drift an ST185. Mines a real bastard to slide, but guess ill take some pointers from this vid. Cheers!

  • try 4ws toyota celica gt4 does not slide not the slitest lol ahaha nice cars thow

  • this is mad.

  • Mad fun :)

  • these guys have no idea what they're doing.

  • I'm pretty sure your dead wrong jdmack44. I'm having bucket loads of fun in my Celica GT4, applying ebreak to initiate drift, using power to keep drift going and initiating counter drift. I know for a fact that is what I'm doing, since I'm driving one of the Celicas in the video I would say I know very well what I'm doing. ;)

  • Does the Celica have this handling from factory, or is it modded? Is it possible to have power oversteer? I'm asking this because I'm thinking of buying a ST205.

  • Well, mine has TEIN coilovers as well as Cusco LSD rear differential. The other GT4 in the video also has TEIN coilovers, and a Whiteline Swaybar that helps to get that overstear going. Stock Factory they do tend to understear quite a bit ;)

  • The best fastest car in the Space World!

  • I believe that all Group A's are either CS/RC/Group A no matter where in the world they are. In Japan they're called RC in Aus there called Group A or commonly reffered to as CS and Europe are just CS. All the same really and yes the plate is above the gear stick. Build xx of xxxx and signed Carlos Sainz! Here in Aus there are also Factory Option CS signed steering wheel only 1000 ever made worlwide(correct me if I wrong)Also fixed bucket seats and AUD1k a pop

  • this is the only celicas i like. fuck da rest gt4 ftmfw! (i own an R32)

  • Sweet!

  • I want a celica sooo bad.

  • Hey

I just started a new rare group on facebook

    for 90-93 (5TH generation celicas)

To find the group copy and paste this

    Toyota Celica 90-93

  • nice, Does anyone know where best to find the original commercials for the alltrac.

    P.S. This is really NICE

  • Thanks for feedback, I don't know about comercials, but I know there is a clip from TopGear on YouTube with the Celica GT4 in it.

  • Do the cars have a plaque in the center console in front of the gearknob and what's on them, as far as I am aware the CS was a UK only car with 440 produced with the CS plaque on the console.

    TIA

  • Yeah, it has the plaque in front of the gear shifter. It says car number xxxx of 5000, they where sold all over Europe like this. The cars are LHD.

  • Are they both Celica CS's? It looks like a jap plate on one of them which should make it a RC model instead of a CS, ps good thrash keep up the work :)

  • Both are CS sold in Europe, one originates from Germany(alu rims), and the other from Switzerland.

  • Was that Volvo there to spoil ya fun?

got a Carlos Sainz myself but never driven it like that..nice one

  • lol nice one. not the most nimblest cars getting around. i love it!

  • I know, she's big and heavy :) Still a lot of fun though :)

  • sounds like a girl i used to know

  • lol

  • We had alot of fun this day it was me and st185cs who drive each our cars there :) And absolute fun day at the track. Soon we will be at it again :)

  • Wow, thats awesome man! I was wondering why the track looked so small ;) Post more of these if you have them.

  • Yeah, it is an outdoor go cart track, but it goes faster then you might think. Top speed around the track for my car is slightly over 60mph. The track is quite narrow as well, so you have to get the slides just right to stay on the track. Bottom line, it's FUN!

  • hey, how are you?Can somebody tell me where is this place??

  • It is in Norway :)

  • and where the fuck is Norway?

  • LOL, it's a country ffs! try google earth! ;)

  • its a go kart track lol 20 mph slids your good lol

  • Best video on Youtube!!!

  • wow, that's no small statement, thanks :)
