Take it from someone who works the front desk at a hotel. It's unfortunate that you were accused of maybe not having positive intentions, but we have to deal with a lot of people who cause a lot of trouble. And, for future reference, never call a hotel's parent company if you have a gripe. ALWAYS try to find the manager at the hotel. "Calling corporate" means nothing nowadays as all hotels are franchises. The complaint usually doesn't see the light of day if you call "headquarters".

you know something i think is stupid those videos you from palmetto baptist health hospital and where you got caught in some of them i have filmed in hospitals right with employees on the elevators and they never say nothing to me when they said something to you about filming that was ridiculous and that i think ruins a good elevator video

At Palmetto Health Baptist and Richland, they have to know what you are filming. They thought I was filmed patients and I wasn't. They would of let me film if I told them I was filming the elevators.

I had no problems filming the elevators on the UNM campus and the hotels/motels in my hometown. In fact, I stopped and put my camera away as soon as I got out of the elevator. However, I was told not to film at the UNM hospital.

btw, I'm pretty sure people are more paranoid about 9/11 back east than here in the Southwest. Tell me if i'm right on that one

I have only been asked for a room key once, but that was before I filmed elevators. When I leave a small hotel like that, I usually take the exit stairs if it doesn't set the alarm off. Otherwise, I will take a side exit.

well, i walked in got in the elevator, rode to the 5th flloor, got out and started my cam, rode to the 1st floor, and back to the 5th, stopped the cam. and rode back down to leave the building and that's when i was confronted..
