Apparently, there's NO, NO review whatsoever that shows you the bottom part with the metallic lever-like thing and the batteries. Sorry i just find it strange!
Man i absolutely love this bike. This could arguebly be the most impressive 1/6 scale piece i have ever laid my eyes on. I thought the Batmobile Tumbler, Batpod & Hellcycle by Hot Toys was impressive, too be honest this bad boy blows them right out the water. Hopefully i can catch a deal where i get this for $500-$550, i might pay that for this. The functions are just breathtaking, need i say more.
@dfuzeNL I will get this, i'm hoping i can get a pretty good deal and find one in the $400 dollar range within a month or so. This is such a well made 1/6 scale vehricle, it's a stunning piece to look at. The only 1/6 scale vehricle i see that could match this, is the upcoming '89 Batmobile in my opinion, i need both of these, ha!ha!ha!
The Batmobile looks great, but in my opinion it will not even come close to it. The only thing the Batmobile has is size and it's beautiful design. But it's all plastic. Still want it though haha! :P
@dfuzeNL Don't be so sure about that yet, we won't really know until we see the '89 Batmobile up close and personal. But yes, i will get the '89 Batmobile and the Kaneda bike as well. You do make a good point about Kaneda's bike being die cast and not plastic, it would be so cool if Hot Toys would put some die cast elements in the '89 Batmobile.
@delfra70 Yeah that would be very cool. But it would only be more expensive. The bike is not all diecast btw. There's a lot of plastic as well, but it looks and feels like diecast. I'm very curious about the price of the Batmobile. Looking at the recent crazy prices like the Iron Monger.
@dfuzeNL Yeah, that scares me little. I hear rumors of the '89 Batmobile possibly going for $600. I will be getting it for three reasons, one is i just love the look and design of this model , two i don't have a Hot Toy Batmobile, and three i will have around 5000 Sideshow rewards points, meaning $250 dollars in Sideshow spending money. The plan is to use that money on the Batmobile, so if it is $600 it will cost me $350. Sideshow has two big pluses for me, Flex Pay Option and Rewards Points.
@delfra70 I agree with you. The look and design of the '89 Batmobile is awesome! Best Batmobile design ever imo. I've got 2 diecast '89 Hot Wheels Batmobiles (normal and tube version). And I think that's enough for me. I don't think I've got the room and cash for the Hot Toys version. Your solution sounds good though. It's a bit more affordable like that.
But I do have the Batman and Joker '89 on pre-order! Can't wait for these! :)
@dfuzeNL Hey i understand, if things work out like i said, than i'll be getting the batmobile. have a friend who never uses Sideshow's Flex Pay Option, but like me he will be using it on the Iron Monger. Fortunantly i have enough room for the Batmobile, Kaneda Bike, Suit-Up Gantry Set, Alien pieces & Iron Monger, everything else is strickly 12-14 inch 1/6 scale pieces outside of those.
@dfuzeNL I won the Kaneda Bike on ebay this week for $430, can't wait to get it in. It's looking like this might just might be the ultimate 1/6 scale piece in my collection, along with the upcoming Iron Monger & '89 Batmobile.
@delfra70 Congratulations man! That's a very good price to. They're going for crazy prices now up to 800-900 dollars! It's the ultimate 1/6 piece! You will love it! :)
@dfuzeNL Thanks a lot bro, i'm really looking forward to this. Yeah, prices are crazy on this, it's still cheaper on average than the Batpod which this bike is superior to in every way in my opinion. I always said that if i ever find the right deal and i have the money at the time, i'll get it. I guess i was rewarded for my patience. This is now the Holy Grail of my 1/6 scale collection, which might be joined by Iron Monger & the '89 Batmobile, depending on how they turn out.
Buy a Sony Vaio now and in 2 years you want the next one, buy this bike and each next year you're going to love it more and you don't care whatever you paid for it ;-)
I LOVE IT!!!! I LOOOOVE IIIIIIIITTTT!!!!!! Since I was a child I have been dreaming with Kaneda´s bike and a figure of him like this set one!! *____* It´s soooooo expensive...some day...some day...

Hi,
does the rear wheel/pivot has suspension? Where are the batteries placed? Is the seat "leather" or plastic. The rims are soft rubber?
