I am Indian and lived in Ullus, Istanbul for three years...and I laughed when first learned "Hindi" = Turkey the bird. I was trying to explain to a Turkish girl that Turkey means the bird turkey... and she looks straight at me and says... Oh yeah..and hindi = turkey the bird.. And I am ...WTF!
