Was 16 when this song came out in 83 and fell in love with a guy in high school at a dance after the football game!!! Loved this song ever since....everytime I here it it gives me good feelings and goose bumps!!! Young love so pure and innocent!! Classic even today......nothing like the old school jams!!! These songs today can't hold a candle to old school!!!

I first saw them performed on the USO circuit at Fort Gorden GA in 1978. Atlantic Starr was mainly a middle-of-the-road, ballad-heavy group ("Secret Lovers," "Touch a Four Leave Clover," "Am I Dreaming," "When Love Calls"). Midnight Star was mostly a snyth-funk band in the SOLAR sound vein ("Freak-A-Zoid," "Electricity," "Operator," "Headlines"); "Slow Jam" is practically the only ballad associated with the band.
