  • @beautifulbre06 The 80's

  • @beautifulbre06 It came out in 1983 on their album "No Parking On The Dance Floor" This truly feels like a Sesame Street song. I dont know why I picture Grover & Prarie Dawn dancing to this.

  • @beautifulbre06 It came out in the mid 80's.

  • @beautifulbre06 1983, co-written by Babyface!

  • @beautifulbre06 It's from the mid 80's looks like 7 people never heard a real "slow jam" lol

  • CLASSIC LOVE SONG....STILL GETTING PEOPLE IN THE MIX......

  • This is Midnight Star, before they had their first record deal, they were called Black-Star, and the Record company changed their name to Midnight Star by in 1979. I first saw them performed on the USO circuit at Fort Gorden GA in 1978. This is for all who don't know their history on most musical groups from the 1970's 80's & 90's Most of them started on the USO circuit.

  • A-A slooowwww jam..for my baby and for meee...OOOOOOOHHHHH!!! Yeessah!:)

  • Old school at it's hottest!!!!!!!!

  • I was listening to micheal bassedan today and i had to blast this in my work van.

Gotta love the ole skool jams.

This is one of those songs that never sounds bad no matter how many times you hear it.

  • YU REALLY CAN'T EXPECT MUSIC TO STAY THE SAME.. WITH EVERY GENERATION COMES A NEW THING..

  • Dis was my m fac song n high school love it. : )

  • This song gave the term slow jam. I remember this song as well I was 8 or 9 when I heard this I, a friend older sister had the record.

  • Done by the Midnight Star, the last track on the " No Parking on the dance floor" album. However both the Midnight Star and the Atlantic Star are multi talented, love dem both

  • this song was done by midnight star back in the eighties..........

  • Atlantic Starr trust me.

  • atlantic and midnight starr are two different groups..lol

  • @JCfallarah yeah

  • MIDNIGHT STAR DID THIS SONG MY FRESHMAN YEAR IN HIGH SSHOOL

  • @COLDSMOKE69 drunk typing wasnt thinking clearly lol

  • @bertmarx

mAYBE I WAS DRUNK WHILE TYPING

  • this is hold your woman tight music

  • yes, this was music. love it!!

  • The 2groups are easily confused Atlantic is my fav but midnight they've got that midas touch going for them both were great.

  • @countryfunkinbunkin No one confused Atlantic Starr and Midnight Star, except for people not familiar with either group. Atlantic Starr was mainly a middle-of-the-road, ballad-heavy group ("Secret Lovers," "Touch a Four Leave Clover," "Am I Dreaming," "When Love Calls"). Midnight Star was mostly a snyth-funk band in the SOLAR sound vein ("Freak-A-Zoid," "Electricity," "Operator," "Headlines"); "Slow Jam" is practically the only ballad associated with the band.

  • @CaptainMike1968 That should have been "Touch a Four Leaf Clover" as the name of the Atlantic Starr song.

  • I remember my mother playing this when I was a little girl. I would be sitting in the backseat - jamming!!!! Wow - this brings back a lot of memories..

  • Play another slow jam! (please for me) nothing like oldschool

  • Real music right here

  • MIDNIGHT STARR made this song...i think ppl should know what they are talking about before they call others names.......

  • atlantic starr or midnight star didnt make slow jam...shooting star did u knuckle-heads

  • Atlantic Starr was good as well, but this is Midnight Starr my friend! When music meant something, now its "back that booty up" and "nick nack paddy whack" nursery rhymes.

  • @LoveMustangsCOM Back that booty up means a whole lot to me...

  • Im only 24. but this song right here can set the mood right for any couple

  • Please correct this ASAP!!!! Midnight Star made slow jam.

  • Classic!

beautifulbre06, we forgive you for mixing up the "Stars".

  • atlantic starr did not make this midnight star did.
