I kept the piece exactly steady for an exam. If you look at the music, then its just the way it is written. But yes, I agree that when I recorded this that I should have made it more flowing and jazzy. But I did this a couple years back, so I didn't know any better... hahaha.
...Just out of curiousity, did you get a good score on your exam? I'm pretty sure some kind of comment would be put on that. Musically speaking, you must swing the eighth notes. (Not to be rude)
yeah i got an excellent score just cuz i played it "techniquely" correct. i just played it the way it was written. i didnt add the right style or my own style to it. but i did this one when i was like... 12 or so. so i kinda sucked then. im 17 right now. and i might just add that i still suck... i needa practice more. hahah
