My brother surprised me with this dvd for Christmas this year. I am sooo happy! This is one of the best movies I watched as a kid ^ ^ I love every song in this movie including this as one of my top choices ^ ^

It wasn't terrible, it looked rushed and I agree with @hinasakukimi, there were so much stuff they could do to it but I really liked the songs. The first movie that I liked every song.

@peguin100 Yeah I do see the potential it had, but the movie has WAY too many problems for me to overlook.

The heroine wants to be a knight but she runs away from everything. Even a blind man has to protect her.

The poorly written dialogue and cheap pop culture jokes give me a headache.

The "magic" and several other things are severely unexplained.

The ogre CGI was terrible.

The plot is very predictable and rips off Disney.

Overall it's just a very poorly written movie.

Its to bad though it got bad recognition... however i bet if they had picked a better date to release it, it would've been better to release it on a new weekend, instead of the one weekend where The Horse Whisperer and Deep Impact came out, then the week after that the Godzilla movie came out, so they were pretty much screwed. but im part of the fanbase for this movie :3

I think you got some of the lyrics wrong.... Like "I embrace what other's feel" I think it's "Fear" not "feel" it just makes more sense that way. Also "Just the likes of me, you're welcome here." In this part of the song he is saying she isn't supposed to be here so why would he say she's welcome? I believe it is "just the likes of me are welcome here". Other than some lyrical errors, great song.
