  • I have one year left until I go to college. I think I will have to get a metal detector and spend as much time as I can looking for relics. Nice finds man!

  • i am buying a ace 250 and i wanted to no if anyone knows if the coil is water proof also i do not no how far down the standard coil goes down. Also I was wondering how you find all these civil war camp sites and stuff like that

  • A Good starting machine would be a Garrett.. i have a Garrett EuroAce much better than the ace 250..Indicates CM instead of Inches.also goes deeper than the 250.Also good for Coins and gold/silver...I also use it for WW2 relic hunting alot of good finds.and that for just 350 Euro's.

  • Very cool finds, keep it up. Thanks for sharing.

  • I found a bullet from ww2 at a field between Germany and Netherland. It even was unfired!

  • america ,canada ,hmm .DDD learn more .D

  • Do you ever find Lighters?

  • Amazing finds, I have my garret 250 and its been sitting all alone in the closet. I'm going to go out tomorrow.

  • Come to England and you will find some proper finds :-)

    Good hunting

  • Most coins are only a few inches deep the ace 250 is a good all around machine for land and sand

  • The Ace 250 is a good detector for the price ($250) most coins are only

  • I want to start doing this but how do I know which metal detector to buy online? What do I look for in one?

  • @kidmoney2007 well features, like tones, target ID, and stuff, go to this site and check some detectors out, garrett and fisher are great brands . go to kellycodetectors. com . you have to type in the link ur self, i had to space it so it would post.

  • @nuggetnoggin I might purchase the ace 250 I've been watching a lot f videos for a while now and they seem to be really good. Would you recommend anything else other than the ace 250?

  • @kidmoney2007 well i use an Fisher F75 right now, mostly for experenced detectorist but a little hard to operate than the ace 250, cost more too ($1,029)

  • @nuggetnoggin You think with an Ace 250 Id have some luck here in Florida to find some richesss? lol

  • several of the things you had may have been civil war relics, many of the bullets, some of the spoons, the dog whistle may have been too.

  • @drewnickel nothing in here is from the Civil War, the horseshoes are if anything besides that nothing. there no CW bullets in this video, ive dug plenty of them before though.. the dog whistle is from the 1940's or so, the spoons sometimes have older dates on them but thats not when the spoon was made only when the company was established..

  • nice finds! im saving up for a garrett 250,it will be my first metal detector

  • good work kid.

  • I say ahh... I say ahh woah boy!!!!

  • Why do you talk like Foghorn Leghorn hahahahaha

  • Excellent finds....good hunting !!!

  • metal-detector-pros.webs.com

  • I found my first indian head penny in my back yard its from 1905.... Nice finds man

  • @2010sudrai thanks for the kind words jerk, your just Jealous that i found so much cool stuff with a metal detector.

  • Do you search in a rural or urban areas? What state?

  • I haven't seen anyone else find a sheriff star. That is pretty neat. How do you suppose the star was lost ? You think the sheriff was killed or just dropped it? Gratz either way. Unique find.

  • The Ruford B Hayes coin looks just like some I used to collect. They were giving them out at gas stations with the purchase of something. That's all I can remember. This was about 17 years ago.

  • That castle is a pin used in uniform for the Army Corp of Engineers and those things that look they might go on your belt are the belt buckles that looke exactly like the ones that went on my battle dress uniforms. Some of the smaller ones look like they might go to suspenders. Really cool finds man! Thanks for sharing.

  • Look at a map of Taiwan and see if it matches the island on the back of the "Japanese" coin. I think it's from Taiwan. Maybe 50 years old or so. It might also say 中華民國 which means "Republic of China."

  • The wrench is a bike tool! Nice finds mate, very impressed with that.

  • HOPE TO see more detecting in 2011.

  • WOW! Amazing! where did you find 1956 Turkey Coin???

  • @nuggetnoggin The row of flags that you found looks like the stripping that goes on a car. The Oldsmobile Cutlas Cruiser. (I used to have one a while back think it was a 1983) I think the commercial stated that it was engineered in all the countries which the flags represent. Also the Military button (The Castle) stands for Engineering.

  • do you sell any of your finds? and if so how? Online through ebay or goto a dealer? All the vids I have watched only show what others find and that's cool but I want to know how to sell some of the good suff. I have a bounty hunter discover 1100 that I am going to use. Some day I will get a better detector but for the price it was the right one for me.

  • that belt buckle with the 3 triangle points aiming down looks like a revolutionary war buckle, you should hang onto that one.

  • @paleoman2 no it's not i thought it was a CW supender but just like 1930's or 40's buckle

  • I noticed your collection. Do you plan on selling any of the items. Maybe in an auction or to a collector?

No use waiting till the end of the world before getting rid of them. Might as well enjoy the fuits of your detecting now!!!

  • @pkrska sorry i dont sell stuff and yes your right i'm going to wait untill the end of the world to sell them

  • best finds are here, in the middle europe, i got garret 350 and you can find ancient rome coins, old slavic denars,Prague groschen, kreuzers from Holy roman empire and Austria-Hungary and nice marks and pfenniígs from 3rd Reich.and im even not talkin about depots from the Bronze age.Im very happy that i live right here.so many treasures waiting for me under ground.lmao ;) ;)

  • hey buddy the item you held up looked like a castle is a US Army corp. of engineers pin most often found on sholder tabs of uniforms, but when afield they used to where them over right chest pocket.

  • @HowardOnTheFly i dont know, your not gonna find any roman coins over here only in the UK

  • Good video and cool finds, keep up the good hunts.

  • what state do you hunt in?

  • Was there a Japanese couple living in your house before you?

  • @NicktheMainer no, i brought some mulch from the city dump they cut up trees and make it and i guess a japanese lost the coin

  • That piece with all the flags on it is from an Oldsmobile Cutlass Cierra from the mid 1980s. There were 2 of those emblems one on each fender of the car.

  • @crxforum thanks , thats cool , i found a grill to an oldmobile a few weeks ago

  • Nice finds! Please check out my detecting videos! Thank you! Merry x mas!

  • @oqiwelkanld seems he had BALLS OF STEEL

  • Comment removed

  • Your videos are really cool dude, enjoying them very much. Your collection is really sweet too.

You should come over to the UK some time and go metal detecting. I'll bet you would love finding some Roman coins that are 2000 years old, perhaps even a gold one!

  • @YeCannyDaeThat yea i should come over there

  • @YeCannyDaeThat, I heard that if yer find any Roman coins, yer supposed to give them to the Queen. Is that true?

  • @guitarslim56 no its not true.People make up a lot of lies about what you find with a metal detector but most of them are not true

  • @sdg111 dont even go there because i will tell yall now that i work for my finds and i have earned every single on of them, i dont plant finds .

  • @nuggetnoggin i know u found yours but im talking about the people on youtube who post videos of them with their metal detectors in a field and they find something.i saw a video and the hole had already been dug up and the guy just put the coin back in the hole again pretending that he had just found it.those are the people i am talking about....but your honest.I have the same metal detector as you and it works great.Good luck with your finds

  • @sdg111 oh ok, thanks, i get day to do live digs when i get a good signal but it makes the videos a lot longer

  • @nuggetnoggin i was going to do a live dig but i only found 3 bullets and lots of junk

  • Nice find Lil Bro... I take my Ace250 to beach mostly. Dont wanna hit the parks until I get my hands on a pin pointer

  • i want that watch

  • I just got my garrett ace 250, my first detector, and in the first hour found 1 quarter 1 dime and 4 pennies in my yard!

  • I LIKE UR PINNEYS

  • Nice finds.

  • yeah man!

  • That thing with the flags is from a 1980s oldsmobile cutlass ciera, if you were wondering.

  • that 42 merc if the 2 looks like its typed over a 1 then its worth alot of money

  • about the pins with 40 / 8... the meaning behind those is from when they used horses in the army. A train cart could hold 40 men or 8 horses

  • you rock nugget

  • japan coin with some sort of strange island on the back, wonder what that could be

  • fix the focus on ur camera its to blurry its hard to see what your showing the viewers

  • This guy must have a lot of free time!

  • Don't worry for him people, he'll soon discover beer and girls lol

  • Weird you found a bullet casing from WWII on American soil...

  • I FOUND A 1909 VDB S !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • if you wan to clea those coins then put them in warm water with salt in it lots of salt and it cleans tarnish off and everything

  • Good finds, wish I had a Son like you to go hunting with, I have 3 Daughters and the only thing they want to hunt is shoes !

  • ; )

  • Good Video, Just one comment on cleaning Coins, try to keep the cleaning to a minimum ,sure get the major dirt and debris off of it but do not shine it up, natural toning is preferred and you can really detract from the value of older coins, Good hunting !

  • The Forty & Eight was founded in 1920 by American veterans returning from France. Originally an arm of The American Legion, the Forty & Eight became an independent and separately incorporated veteran's organization in 1960. Membership is by invitation of honorably discharged veterans and honorably serving members of the United States Armed Forces.

  • can you search under water with it or no?

  • Great finds!!

  • The "special" wrench is, as you say, from England and its made for bikes (esay to take withe when you go for a ride). :)

  • Restored my faith in metal detecting, I'm gonna brake out my 250 and go looking!

  • The wrench you described with the England tag on it, is an old bicycle wrench, probably from the Raliegh manufacturer.

  • You have found some nice stuff. I am fourteen years old and I have found a lot too with my ace 250. I am from WI and it is hard to find people that are your same age that detect. Good luck!!!

  • When you find wheaties, be sure to cheak for key and simi key dates. These include: 1909-S VDB, 1914-D, 1922, 1931-S. When you dig up mercury dimes, cheak for 1916-D. For indian head pennies, cheak for 1908-S.

  • you know mercury dimes are extremely toxic and radio active. Thats why they stopped making them because they found out that if you don't wash your hands after touching one within 8 hours or so then it could screw your up your DNA.

  • LOL, it doesn't have murcury in it! It reverses to the Roman god, Mercury. Murcury dimes contain 90% silver, and I think 10% copper. If they did contain murcury, everyone would be dead, or have an arm sticking out of their torso.

  • I think your hel-v-shia is a Swiss Coin.

    :<)

  • I brought a pack of 50 coin protectors for 99 cents at hobby town usa.

  • Hey, awesome finds, just wondering; where do you get the coin protectors?

  • I am treasure hunting North Carolina

  • I just ordered a Garrett Ace 250. I can't wait for it to get here! Your treasure trove is truly amazing! I especially like the Mercury Head Dimes. What state are you hunting in if you don't mind my asking. I am going to be treasure hunting in Florida. Thanks for sharing this great video.

  • The long thing with all the flags is a emblem on the fender on a 1980's car.

  • you have done a lot since you last posted , congrats on all. you have some really neat finds and older relics too. keep up the good work!
