@qwackfartz Yes. When you put a note on the low A below the staff, it creates a muted note, used to make other notes cut off.

Other than personal music players, Mario Paint Composer is the only music composing/arranging tool that I have.

However, I'm also in band (trombone) and chorus (bass 2), if you count that. Never took a full theory course though.
