just finished 5Ds, brilliant anime. It is definitely the best Yu-Gi-Oh season, Zexal can go fuck itself. The 10 eps I saw was filler driven rubbish

I agree that the plot in those episodes may have been irrelevant, but they introduced characters who are seen very often (except for Fuya, who is aleady set to be making a reappearance in the series) and showed a little piece of the overall plot of the show.

I wouldn't compare that to the Digimon series ( I assume your talking about Xros Wars 02) that didn't show any hint at the plot until like the 14th episode.

@lordoYYH255 yes, cause kazuki takahashi worked on the character designs for yugioh 5d's and gx. this is the last yugioh series takahashi is going to work on. he didn't really work on 5d's though. he just did the character designs. for gx, he gave advice on how to make it and he did the character designs.
