It may be a silly idea, but I couldn't help wondering whether or not the police had compared the handwriting from the envelopes of the 'anonymous grandmother' letters to the handwriting of James Carringer. I would imagine they have the handwriting from his suicide note, so it would probably be feasible. Looking at the 'anonymous grandmother' letters, I immediately felt that they seemed like a fabrication, perhaps by the real killer.
The highest point in Ga is Brasstown Bald Mountain. If she was traveling on Jones Creek Rd and picked up. I feel like she is in the Suches area or she is in the Gilmer county area around fort mountain going towards chatsworth. If the GBIs see this I think you need to search those areas.

I pray the perpetrator is apprehended; that the circumstances are completely revealed; that the family can begin to heal, and that the perp is removed from society so he can never again bring such pain upon a family.
