Not entirely true, music is based around maths meaning that certain formula sounds better than others. One will also not deny that Bachs music compared to say Justin Bieber is subjective, a well struck note is better than a bad struck note etc etc.

Subjective is that potentially every human hears a piece of music differently ie where you hear high notes i hear low, there is no way of knowing we all hear the same way
