People, the "ne-ji" is obviously on purpose. If you tell Vocaloid to say "ne-gi" then that's what it will say. You have to misspell it on purpose to get "ne-ji." Ergo, it's not a mistake.

If it were an English word, then it's NEH-jee. But "leek" is the English one. The "g" in romaji is ALWAYS pronounced "gh", no exceptions.
