  • The 326 sould be used more. Not every car needs a 400 or 455. I would like to know what was done to your 326.

  • beautiful! i spent the better part of three years now restoring my dads 67. She'll probably take a few more out of me before I'm done. Can't wait until she can cruise again like that. Keep the bird in the air.

  • Thanx. Good luck on your resto, at least you'll know every inch of the car when you're done, since you've restored it yourself! You got a website or video of your progress?

  • No, sadly. I remember how it all started though. I walked outside to see my dad reading in the lawn chair. I was about 18 at the time. I told him, "Hey I want to fix up the fire bird." He replied, "Ok, we can do that." I said, "Ok." Two hours later he walked outside to the driveway and I had already torn out the seats, carpet and was on my way with the center council. "What are you doing!" he yelled. Then he said, "Well, I guess we are going to do this, let me go change my clothes."

  • We never took pre-pictures unfortunately. We wish we had but it never crossed our minds. If we ever do get some up of the finished product I'll let you know.

    Thanks
