It's hard to rag on a guy in circumstances such as these, but they're fully aware of the repercussions so if they want to make their beds, you need to lie in it. I really don't understand why players do not wear a full face shield. I've never played forward, but as a goalie wearing a severely restrictive mask, it never impeded me much. A half face shield should at least be mandatory so players don't have to look/feel like a eunuch for wearing one. Pro sports bravado is out of control.
