3. Devil May Cry 4-wise, one of the localization employees I was talking to confirmed to me that Nero IS Vergil's son, and that this aspect was going to be implemented in to the game's plot. However, the decision was made not to, which could set up a good story for the future. I argued that it was cheesy, so we'll see what happens.
I know, I know, no new Devil May Cry game is major suckage. However, I did find out a couple of things...
1. One guy said that the reason for no new Devil May Cry title is that the franchsie doesn't fall in line with the western tactics Capcom are employing at this very moment in time.

i think virgil was good all along and it was a plot to kill mundus. is this cutscene only in the special edition? i kept trying to kill all 100 demons in the credit but only got to 90-98
As for killing 100 demons, choose a Devil Arm with a large attack radius like Nevan. Also if you're playing on DMD well it's gonna be hard, very hard to nail down 100 demons

Actually on DMC 1 there's only Easy, Normal, Hard and DMD. Even on normal, Mundus is one hell of a boss. So the answer in my opinion would be just Easy.

Blue coat they were both wearing, Yamato as they're sword, red eyes wchich says they're possessed by someone/thing - There are MAAANY similiraties between Nero and Vergil. Nero (He is about 20 - 28 tops) is too old to be Vergil's son. Vergil must have been something about 50-year old guy, and we all know, that Dante (They're twins, right?) is 32 in DMC 4. So this theory fails completely! The only explanation is that Nero is Vergil's reincarnation. The Order needed Sparda's descendant to form the Savior's core. If they would fail in capturing Dante, they still have Nero. Unfortunately (for them), they didn't know they experiment succeded until Dante showed up.

Well, i've heard, that Nero had some kind of accident on one of his missions. During this "accident" the Red Queen was damaged (In DMC 4, after first battle with Dante, Nero gets repaired RQ) and his right arm seriously wounded. I think, that Nero is new Vergil. The Angel project of the Order could lead to reincarnate Vergil as Nero. They needed descendant of Sparda to create the Savior's core. So, if they will fail in capturing Dante, they still have another Sparda's descendant. Just a theory..

Dude, Vergil fought Dante 3 times,sacrificed his blood for the opening of the Underworld ritual, fought Arkham and Beowulf, got his gut slashed by Dante, fell into a 39 feet deep ravin and got up. So you get the idea don't you ?
Why do you think he wanted the Amulet so bad? because he knew his fathers godly power was the only thing that could stand up to Mundus and overthrow the underworld.
Just look at DMC1 if Dante hadn't awoken the power of Sparda out of rage Mundus would have zapped him to death right then and there. I would be suprised if Vergil even made it to the physical Mundus before getting zapped by his eyes, kind of an unfitting ending as Vergil should have known he was no match without Sparda.
It's true in one way. But here's how I see things : Vergil doesn't need the Sparda since he's already master of his demonic powers, but in his weakened state he couldn't match Mundus' power. Anyways, the answers will be given by Capcom sooner or later. No need to piss ourselves off.

@scorphon Mundus is stronger than Dante before Dante uses the Sparda form. Dante beats Nelo Angelo so Dante is stronger than Nelo Angelo. Nelo Angelo is more powerful than DMC3 Dante and Vergil.
Therefore Dante Sparda Form>Mundus DMC1 Dante>Nelo Angelo>DMC3 Dante>DMC3 Vergil. Stop being stupid.

As for killing 100 demons, choose a Devil Arm with a large attack radius like Nevan. Also if you're playing on DMD well it's gonna be hard, very hard to nail down 100 demons

Actually on DMC 1 there's only Easy, Normal, Hard and DMD. Even on normal, Mundus is one hell of a boss. So the answer in my opinion would be just Easy.

Plus, Bianco Angelo - those armors were made from the remnants of the "Dark Angel" (Nelo Angelo). Japanese can't see the difference (in speeling) between letters "L" and "R" (NeRo, NeLo). Nero's DT says a lot - it looks like a combination of Vergil's DT and Nelo's armor (Sheath on his left arm). Blue coat they were both wearing, Yamato as they're sword, red eyes wchich says they're possessed by someone/thing - There are MAAANY similiraties between Nero and Vergil. Even a blind man can see that.

Nero (He is about 20 - 28 tops) is too old to be Vergil's son. Vergil must have been something about 50-year old guy, and we all know, that Dante (They're twins, right?) is 32 in DMC 4. So this theory fails completely! The only explanation is that Nero is Vergil's reincarnation. The Order needed Sparda's descendant to form the Savior's core. If they would fail in capturing Dante, they still have Nero. Unfortunately (for them), they didn't know they experiment succeded until Dante showed up.

CAPCOM does that stuff, you gotta expect the unexpected.

Well, i've heard, that Nero had some kind of accident on one of his missions. During this "accident" the Red Queen was damaged (In DMC 4, after first battle with Dante, Nero gets repaired RQ) and his right arm seriously wounded. I think, that Nero is new Vergil. The Angel project of the Order could lead to reincarnate Vergil as Nero. They needed descendant of Sparda to create the Savior's core. So, if they will fail in capturing Dante, they still have another Sparda's descendant. Just a theory..

Why do you think he wanted the Amulet so bad? because he knew his fathers godly power was the only thing that could stand up to Mundus and overthrow the underworld.
Just look at DMC1 if Dante hadn't awoken the power of Sparda out of rage Mundus would have zapped him to death right then and there. I would be suprised if Vergil even made it to the physical Mundus before getting zapped by his eyes, kind of an unfitting ending as Vergil should have known he was no match without Sparda.
