You need to remake the Mega drive version, it is genuinely a better (larger) game :). And the gfx effects that are int he first level are also int he Mega drive version int he later levels, to use in gameplay so you can see by the water reflection where you are going :). PLus beating up piggies is nicer then beating up wolvies :).

@ChaosTFox As far as I know, you cannot buy Sparkster in a store, you have to purchase it online, via the Playstation Store, 360 Marketplace, or on Steam (pc).

You know, there should be a HD remix of Sparkster. Don't get me wrong, Rocket Knight is ok, but Sparkster was the best out of the series.

If new rocketknight does well, developer said he'd like to make a rocket knight game with the sprites in mind, but due to lack of budget they couldn't for the current one, the dev said he would be keen to work on one and this artwork is awesome, good job man :), anyone have anything like this for first rocket knight adventures as well?.

i like this better than 3d but it needs more contrast.

example - Bright character darker background or vise vesa... certainly better though.

@truendymion There are four things which concerns me when I play a game: Gameplay, Design, Storyline and Presentation. The gameplay looks OK to me. The sidescrolling shooter part of the trailer is what I really dislike. The gameplay there looked too boring. Design... well yeah... I find that just ugly. In my opinion they should've made it 2D. Also in the trailer I can only see a forest with trees and woodenstructures in that forest, which looked a bit boring and repetitive.

@truendymion Yeah, a trailer doesn't say much about the game itself. It only gives you a first impression, which wasn't very great to me. The final version of the game might be fun, when I play it.

@truendymion I don't know much about the storyline or the presentation. The music in the trailer however isn't as good as the original music of sparkster. It sounds too repetitive. You're right that graphics aren't everything. The gameplay is the most important, but if the others are bad, it can affect the gameplay and definitely affect the gameingexperience.
