After all, this is an arduous process. I'm on a Mac, so I have the extra step of installing Wine. I wouldn't put forth all of this effort simply for the sake of releasing pirated work into the wild.

just google for kindle for pc older software version - there are still links up, just remember after downloading it to go to settings and disable the automatic updating

A quickie: Topaz is not a new format or encryption scheme, it's a *different* format that Amazon uses for OLD books, for publishers that don't want to make the effort to convert. It's a pretty crappy scan/ocr format, too. Avoid it like the plague, regardless of DRM.
What is the reason why you can't run these Python scripts on a Mac? You can easily install Python, which I presume is all you need to run these scripts...

Gahhh. Do you know of a program that is an automatic on-screen ebook capturer? I've been trying to use Adobe Digital Editions Converter and it doesn't work out nicely. :( I'm trying to get it to capture the ebook pages because it's an ebook from a library lending mall. :/
