  • HOW ARE THOSE PEOPLE JUST SITTING THERE?!

  • can you say chills!

  • @jjsmizzle317

why must i can say chills

    greetings from holland

  • How the heck can he play so high?

  • @aaronandraquel its the horns... 2 valves. they cant play LOW

  • @sxety35

Actually, they were using 3 valve horns at this point. Still G bugles though.

  • @kmabru oh, thanks! i was unaware.

  • @sxety35

You're welcome. Anything with the rack mounted drums will be 3 valve G bugles. The videos with the triple bass drums could be either 2 or 3 valve G bugles depending upon the year. 1989, 1991, 1993 and some unmarked ones are 3 valve. 1984 and 1985 are 2 valve. You'll notice the mid brass switched over to mellophones when they went to 3 valve. Prior it appeared to be possibly a flugle and a french horn. Not sure when the switch occurred.

  • SAD THAT THEY ARE GONE.

  • Good Lord.

  • @gregtyoung

with air you can play high

  • Jesus, this arrangement is FANTASTIC! And the solo work- man... it's inspiring and gets the blood up like D&B should do for the soul.

  • Yes, my three-valve Kanstul Baritone Bugle in G that I use in Alumni Corps plays all the notes. 8D

They were the last Bugles the Drum and Bugle Corps used at the ened before transitions to the B-flat horns.

And yes I played on a piston-rotor horn in the late 70's early 80's. It's missing some notes in the lower register, but as Brasstech says, you can use alternate fingerings and bend pitches. 8)

  • HOLY CRAP @ 4:19

  • Man I miss this group. Brings a tear to my eye. WOOT fellow Phantom Regiment Alumni in this group drummer Lee Hansen and Bari James Hosmer!

  • I now,

Its a heavy playing group, respect to you all.

    greetings from the netherlands

  • Mark Zauss has a website. Check it out for more videos...google him.

  • Ha! Even G bugles with just a slide and one valve can play sharps and flats. G bugles with 3 valves can too..which is what most of those horns are.. Bugles with NO valves/keys can also play sharps and flats if you practice lip bends (which I highly recommend) quite a bit... must I go on?

  • The lead player guy is Mark Zauss, you can find a bunch of his vids on youtube.

  • disbanded in 2000. more in english Wikipedia.

  • Anyone know what happened to futurcorpsfan? They had tons of really good future corps videos on YouTube and they seem to have disappeared.

  • This guys are sick WTF!!! over

  • WOW. Those notes were unimaginably high

  • 2:36 arpeggio's are sweet!!!!

  • OMG LOVE the octave split from the contras at the end!

  • They are indeed Bugles, not trumpets.

  • Does anyone know if this group has an album or a CD, and if so, where could I obtain it?

  • they have an album out...it was recorded by an earlier version of the group. you can occasionally find it on e-bay, they're expensive though. Great CD though.

  • C-H-0-P-S!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Future Corps 4EVER, long live EPCOT Future Corps.

  • trunpets.........DAAAAAAAAAANG.

  • Wow all "trumpet" players here are screamers.

  • époustouflant !!

  • son la verdadera verga

  • son una verga bien parada

  • Can anyone make a list of the songs in this performance?

  • yes i can i have every song that is wrote for bill chase.

    greetings trompatrick from holland

  • Can you put it on the video description on on a reply? Greetings from Auric

  • you mind putting Invitation to a River up on here? Its my favorite song of all time, and sadly, it's nowhere on youtube.

  • Thanks.

  • Close Up Tight, Run Back to Mama, Hello Groceries, Cronus (Saturn), (I'm still looking for the next one), and Close Up Tight

  • I found the song I was missing. The order is: Close Up Tight, 1:09 Run Back To Mama, 1:15 Hello Groceries, 1:48 Cronus (Saturn), 2:36 Bochawa, 4:28 Close Up Tight

  • Thank you, the minute markers were a great touch!

  • 2:36 is actually So Many People not Bochawa :)

  • lmao at the contra dressing down at 2:04

  • Whoa.

  • I run a brassline that was completely inspired by future corps. God, I wish they were still around, I'd give anything to have these guys back.

  • ale napierdalaja grubo chlopcy

  • Sounds like Mark Zauss as the last soprano. His range is ridiculously powerful

  • it is mark zauss greetings trompatrick

  • They are playing g bugles, not sure which brand

  • you must hear it again

    greetings trompatrick

  • They were g bugles, I think they were playing Deg's, take a look at the left side contras, marching BBb tubas were all played on the right side back then

  • After further review it looks like the sopranos are playing Kanstul key of G soprano bugles with the tune a note featue.

  • I have this medley on my iPod and seeing it video makes it even better! I wonder if those trumpet players are playing on Schilke B6Lb trumpets like the great Bill Chase did.

  • Love Them!!! Sound is great on the video!

  • AWESOME!!!:D
