Duane is a tool.
He tried to tear down low-income housing for NO OTHER REASON than he wanted to build a botanical garden.
He is currently trying to destroy a local park, taking out the softball field, baseball diamond, and last remaining public boat launch left in town. Apparently he doesn't like the view from his building.
Make no mistake of it, he is a vile person with no care for anyone but himself.
This man's eventual death will be cause for dancing in the streets.

From my understanding, he is one of the reasons people like to launch their boats at that boat launch and play spots in Coeur d'Alene (maybe I'm mistaken, but his work is part of the reason that Northern Idaho holds an agreeable anchor of affinity for me).
On the other hand, I'm not sure how much value comes from saying he is a vile person with no care for anyone but himself, or that he is a tool, or that his death will be celebrated.

A little more constructive feedback.
Why don't you go to the city and/or Hagadone and argue your case. Ask what he is doing to help those displaced from their homes to receive training and assist in contributing value to the city and enabling them to live within the city. Ask if he does not believe Coeur d'Alene should have attractions for up and coming, but not yet, stars in the community. Ask him if he would have wished to have those available to his friends as a child.
