I did that too but in another way. In Minecraft 1.8.1 (I used a cracked version, lol) you put a cobweb (using TooManyItems). If you try to destroy it the game crashes. O_O

this actually happened. the piston pushes the dirt block which would move the lever away but because it does that the piston would not activate, which would cause the game to crash. you would not be able to get back on the world unless you used something like mc edit to remove it

@powerkid2599 It was already patched as of Beta 1.7.3, if I recall correctly; and no, it's not fake. I started messing with pistons in a personal server with my friend, and the server would simply stop sending/receiving data whenever a piston had broken it's own activation circuit...

This is real. It really was a bug, this and many other variants existed. It got patched in 1 or 2 days. This is the reason why doing it today will result in your lever/button/pressureplate popping off.

@MiricxSFT this is a real glitch that occurred in the 1.7 update when a piston power source was moved by a piston itself it created a paradox that would crash the game. Notch fixed this the next day in 1.7.1
