if you walk to the end of soi cowboy and turn right you will find a fish and chip shop on the right hand side. wicked the only one in bangkok . red snapper n chips ,,,i would reconmend you go there

Happy to see Soi Cowboy is still there. I lived in Bangkok for many years and this is the one place where nobody tried to cheat me. Unlike Patpong that became the anus of Bangkok over the years, through some of the Thai filth there that preyed on tourists.

That was a pity because there were some decent Brits, Americans and Aussies running genuine bars.

If the Tilac bar is still in Soi Cowboy, it is a good place to start.

Soi Cowboy is proof that if you play an honest game, you will survive.

Nobody has cracked a chippy in Bangkok one that would be fun to go to. The one on 23 I find a bit glum. Like the food isn't a labour of love. It appears to survive on an emergency ethos.
